You can play on any server.
The "region lock" just affects where in the world you can launch the game.
For example if you are american and buy the american version, you can only launch the game in america.

@neon vigil try to do an integrity check using the launcher and play around with your settings after that, especially the auto ram cleaner, windowed/fullscreen mode and core affinity settings. Keep your render distance at 1500 max.

@wicked dune I'm not an expert there really lol but what I would recommend is use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall the game and remove all the game file leftovers and registry trash, then you install fresh.
If that doesn't work then I recommend contacting support, or a buddy of mine that is often in this chat knows more than me soo you could try with him

i am assuming its related to the host of the tarkov servers blocking IP addresses generated from Spectrum Internet in Southern California, that would mean that they should be able to contact, who I assume is CloudFlare based on the captcha on the website, saying hey these dynamic/static IP's from this provider need to be allowed to access our servers

i think so, it might not hurt to try calling spectrum, but it would be useless without more details on the BSG download server information, which is unlikely to just be given out for obvious security reasons

almost everytime i launch the game with launcher it goes black screen and freeze my pc, i have to ctrl+alt+canc and then disconnect, because if i go to control panel i can't kill the app.

just got cheated out of 1m worth of gear as a scav, had a as val and killed a guy that had a thermal kitted out Adar and found 2 more bodies that he had killed , went too extraction as a scav and extracted , and as the screen was turning dark at 0.00 minutes too extraction the game crashed , loaded game back up and main menu was there. good work devs .12 is a blast
