Anyone know why EFT keeps crashing when I try load a game ?
Everytime I try load up customs I get a crash as the game starts, or while loading loot pools.
I've turned settings down to see that helps too, but it just keeps crashing.

Run CCleaner and clear ur cache. Also try fully uninstall Tarkov and delete all the leftover files and install again

Okay this one is long winded but, my mate has been playing with us the wntire wipe no problem now all of a sudden he gets stuck on profile data loading then if he gets in the traders dont all load some will some wont i.e. they remain as spinninch circles for.their pictures and items. It takes a long time to move items around and has had some issues where he cant hit the ready button when we get him that far into the raid. Wierd part is last night it seemed to work then went right back to these issues. solitions that have been tried... re install game x3, run as admin, and complete qipe of hard drive. Any help is appreciated as he has damn near given up.

So, I found out the hard way: Post scav raid game crashes (Which have only been happening in the .12 patch) make me lose all my loot.

I'm fine with the new changes of making certain items unavailable to newer players because they havent unlocked Jaeger, or the fact that you have to heal every round, or even that scav mode has a longer cooldown...but would it kill you guys to add in better matchmaking, so new and casual players with pistols level 1-10 arent going up against these 30+ guys with modded guns, best ammo and functional armor?

Not on my end, no. I'm sorry but afaik BSG doesn't restore items lost to bugs, and if it's unable to be reliably replicated it's a bug that may never be fixed.

Use the preset button on lower part of ui. Load the default build for a desired weapon and it will let you tryout all the mods you can fit on that weapon without actualy owning the gun or the mods
You can save the build and just press buy all button and it will buy all the mods, weapon and build it for you as you designed

@queen marsh that's most likely caused by the (currently broken) fullscreen mode. You need a config file that launches the game in windowed mode so you can change it to borderless window after that. I can send one here in a few minutes.

It will launch the game in windowed mode 720p, so you definitely need to adjust it afterwards. Just make sure to use windowed borderless instead of fullscreen.

@Koe#3216 this config should be alright. You need to paste it into your Documents > Escape from Tarkov folder after you launched it once. It will launch it in a lower resolution and in windowed mode, so you need to set the resolution to 1600x900 and set it to borderless windowed afterwads.

I don't know what is causing it, but a lot of people are having issues with it, including not being able to launch the game, random crashes and freezes, Vsync issues and not being able to join certain maps.
It would be great if the default window mode wouldn't be fullscreen while all those bugs are there so people that are affected by that issue can at least run the game, but I don't think we will get a hotfix like that before the other bugs are fixed..

Sometimes when you're in a extract zone, the office being one for scavs, it won't show your extract timer if someone has extracted there before. As for the loot not being there, generally if you move back and forth at the end screen it will error out and pop back up.

That's because of server-side desynch of the item server. BSGs still having issues from the massive influx of players, and since they don't physically own any game servers their really at the mercy of the providers.

So if you drag and drop anything into one of those spots, it errors out and resets everything you moved. So he didn't realize it was just one or two slots probably and the error only pops up after you press "continue" which is what pissed him off

I guess the frustrating part about people like Frog is, on one hand it's a completely legitimate complaint, on the other ya'll literally signed up to play a very much in-progress game.
As far as that Intrude, in the past it's fixed whenever they end up restarting the item servers, but that usually only comes with technical patches since they've got a large player base to keep active.

No error message it just gets the spinning wheel where my cursor is and stops responding. Locks my task manager up too so I have to restart my computer every time

You can try to replace your local.ini file in your Documents > Escape from Tarkov folder with this one: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/521614489884295169/640719416698470420/local.ini
It will launch the game in 720p windowed, so you need to adjust it later. Just use borderless windowed instead of fullscreen.

That usually happens when something in the background interrupts the download or if your ethernet cable is loose. Try double checking both of those.

IF that's the case, try and close anything else in the background that would be downloading anything or have any sort of connection to the internet besides Discord and the Launcher, then try again.

The issue usually comes from a issue with the users connection, thought it is caused by the launcher being a bit finnicky.

It's a known bug, their currently working on it.
It's actually even addressed on the launcher.
