@mellow drum I think that I am having the exact same problem. I think that it is a bug with it being fullscreen on launch and you need it to be borderless. But unfortunately they removed the setting in the launcher to launch the game in borderless and now I am stuck not being able to play the game.

I'm being dead serious. I know jack all about software, so I kept screwing with a setting, relaunching, and throwing myself into matching for about 30-ish minutes at a time and after about a full day, DMZing my comps IP was the one thing that threw me from 30min matching to sub 4-min.
Though on the other hand, ask me to solder some memory modules or micro resistors to a samsung or apple PCB and I'll have that bastard put back together in no time.

Go to your My Documents folder, open up the Escape from Tarkov folder and delete 'Local.ini' then try again. That should clear your graphics settings and allow you to boot the game back up.

This is a funny issue: lots of keys (non much used) appear as fkd up things in the game commands.. like I was pressing not my layout keyboard but something else.. and my windows is in the right language so I dnt understand what game sees...

While it is most likely one of many issues right now you can't do much about, you can try to reset your router, temporarily disable your firewall, check your game files for issues and make sure you installed .NET 4.7.2.

0.12 is a huge patch that requires a lot of tweaking, especially since they modified/changed a lot of the core mechanics. It still went surprisingly well considering how much has changed imo.

I completed the "survive dehydration for 5 minutes" portion of the mission "The survivalist path - Zhivchik" and then died afterwards, completing the first subtask but failing the second. After that, I redo the mission, surviving another 5 minutes of dehydration and successfully extracted this time. However, the second subtask remained incomplete and I therefore assume the mission is now permanently locked and uncompletable forever.

hey, new here. got recommended here for technical issues relating to tarkov that i have. so whats happening is multiple issues, matching takes forever (even with 16 ping), its extremely framey and it black screens so badly when i die/extract, to the point that i have to forcefully crash the game. got a good PC too, z370 gaming motherboard, 16GB RAM, 1080 GPU. i re installed the game, same outcome. any advice?

I have not, it seems like just another case of being Tarkov'd into geometry. Just make sure you report it on the launcher so that it can be addressed.

Check your quest inventory, the doc case might've automatically been transferred to the offline inventory instead of staying in the online inventory.

Try swapping up to high, and it does feel like that Tarkov favors AMD cpus at the moment, so you just might need to brute-force the game to get it to behave.

That's beyond bizarre, make sure to report it on the launcher. I know the quests end up tripping server-side flags, but try going in with someone else that has delivery from the past and seeing if you can see it then.

Replace the local.ini file in your Escape from Tarkov > Documents folder with this one. It will make sure the game launches in 720p windowed. You can change your settings ingame after that, just make sure to use windowed borderless instead of fullscreen.

That explains a lot. Yeah it is definitely a spec issue. You can try to clean your laptop a bit etc., but there isn't too much you can do, sadly. Make sure there isn't too much load on there since 8GB are not much at all anymore, especially for Windows and videogames. Just try to get rid of some software you don't need and make sure there isn't too much running in the background. You can try a fresh install as well or try to reinstall EFT first.

Question, my friend I did Reserve last night in the night time. We encountered 2 scavs which we killed, but with me sitting outside, I noticed 1 scav go in to check the noise, normal I suppose. He dies to the friend, once he dies, another spawns and immediately starts walking towards the friend again, this happens again for another 20+ times until we got killed by the scavs

Just do some long loot raids with a big backpack and tactical vest.
You will slowly level up strength and find useful items for quests or the hideout.
At least this is what I do.
Interchange is a great map to do that on, for example.
But I guess some people in #eft-chat have some other suggestions as well, maybe you have more luck there.

They reset the settings in one of the recent updates and the default fullscreen mode is just normal fullscreen, which is bugged for many people.
Just a fullscreen issue. The config will launch it in windowed mode, so you can set it to borderless windowed after that, which works fine.

HEY, why when I enter the interchange, I get information that I was kicked because of an incorrectly loaded anticheat, and after logging back in I still get messages: the connection lost by which I still lost my items when trying play this map (this isnt happens every time)
