That's weird. Unless they changed the path of it, you are missing the anticheat completely. Try something: Delete the BattlEye folder as well as one random file in the EscapeFromTarkov_Data folder and try to verify your game files using the launcher again.

Check integrity/reinstall the game from the launcher.

Someone else recently confirmed that disabling HDR and Bloom in the config files gives a noticable performance boost on low-end (graphics) hardware. To do that, you need to set the values of "Bloom" and "HDR" in your local.ini file (Documents > Escape from Tarkov) both to 0.
The performance will most likely improve with 0.12 soon though.

@vivid briar well, windows 7 will reach its end of life in early 2020, which means you will not receive any updates (and updates are important for windows because of its weak security compared to other operating systems). Windows 7 doesn't support direct x 12 either, which is important for modern videogames (even though there is a way for gamedevs to get direct x 12 working on windows 7, definitely not all do that). I would recommend you to stay with windows 10 for now and get rid of the bloat, or switch to a completely different operating system like linux, but that means that a lot of software and games won't be available for that operating system (especially EFT doesn't run linux right now).
@maiden yew you can try to play around with the server selection in the launcher. Try "auto" first and if that doesn't work, just select a few servers near you.
@sullen mesa if the issue is still there, contact the official support. Do never send the log files here, because they can contain important account information. You can contact the official support by either messaging @mellow tundra or by sending an email to support@battlestategames.com

I've had the issue for 2 years now, and I just found absolutely no info through Reddit and lightly reading the forums, and it comes back sporadically, so I just assume its server-side. I am DMZ'd up through the router, and restarting the router doesn't end up fixing it when its acting up, only waiting does.

Does anyone run this game on a Ryzen 2600x? I just recently upgraded and Tarkov is unplayable. Ryzen 2600x, 16GB 3200mhz, installed on an SSD and loading maps takes waaaayy too long. The music sometimes loops while loading and when I do manage to get into a game I get massive freezes and stutters, usually when a gun is fired or I start looting. Anyone have experience with this issue?

@hard portal I have the 2600 overclocked to 4GHz and water-cooled (which makes it pretty much at least on par with the 2600X if not a bit better). I don't experience such issues, but you definitely need to install all drivers for your motherboard and make sure you are using the latest BIOS version. Hardware from AMD usually gets better over time with updates. If you have motherboard with a "memory try it" feature, you can try a preset with a slightly lower latency than your default (if your RAM is at 16 by default, you can try 15). That gave me a nice little performance boost as well. In general, make sure your OS is rather clean as well, of course. I recommend you to get rid of a lot of pre-installed things and check your settings. There is a little script to do a lot of that automatically called "Debloat-Windows-10", you can find it on github. I experienced that ryzen works much much better on a clean and bloat-free OS (tested with windows 10 pro with tweaks, windows 10 enterprise LTSC with major tweaks and linux. Runs butter smooth and the best on linux and much better on windows 10 enterprise LTSC compared to windows 10 pro.). 🙂
I heard many people had success with disabling specific cores for EFT, but that wasn't the case for me. You can always try to tweak your settings: LOD quality to 2-2.5, render distance to 1000-1500 and disable HDR and Bloom in the config file.
However it sounds more like a software issue on your end. If possible, you could try to reinstall the OS, de-bloat it before you install anything and try to run tarkov then. You can just use a different hard drive for that, of course. Reinstalling the OS every now and then, especially after a hardware swap, helps a lot.

Most likely server issues. The servers seemed to struggle a lot before the event as well and my guess would be that the event just made it worse.
You can try to disable your antivirus and firewall and to reinstall the launcher. I guess it helped some people. I haven't been able to keep up with this channel the last few days to check what did work for some people and what didn't, sadly.

You should try to take regular breaks. Maybe try to start with a simple 5 minute break after every raid and you can move on from there. Ideally you want to end up with some kind of 1-2 hour delay before starting up Tarkov every day after that. Just make sure you don't do all that too fast, just take your time with that. Getting rid of an addiction and getting used to something else is hard and shouldn't be underestimated. 🙂

That is no issue at all.
The lobby ingame is global, you will all play on the server selected by the group leader.
So if there is a group with one person from the US, one from the EU and one from Asia and the person from the US invited everyone, everyone will play on US servers.

Please help i keep getting stuck at "Awaiting session start" or "deploying in 00:00.000" I've lost like 11 kits (over 13 mil rubbles) and like 5 of of my friends kits to this stupid bug if tried alt f4ing but it doesn't work I've completely reinstalled the game and still i get the bug it ever stays at "Awaiting session start" until I alt f4 again and confirm leave, the game ends and I get "server connection lost" or a scav kills my player and then it says "server connection lost" as well.

So I posted earlier about issues on a new system with a ryzen 2600x and 16gb of 3200mhz ram. I reinstalled windows and debloated and the issue persisted. However, when I run Tarkov on my 2ndary HDD instead of my main SSD (where Windows is installed) it runs basically perfectly. Maps load within a minute and there are no major freezes. So that's resolved, but I'm wondering if anyone's heard of something like this happening with an SSD. Crucial Storage Executive says the drive is healthy, it's running in AHCI, so I've no idea where I could be going wrong. Could it be the pagefile size or something like that?

Hi, am new to EFT, been playing it for the last week and so, noticed that when I am on and online raids be it PCM or SCAV although I make it back at times with kills and others with just loot, the EXP I earned does not record into my leveling. Just a little head up. You are forcing low level players to stop playing the game. They don’t know the basic and are struggling HARD to survive. I have Sherpa (I’m not an official one) on different maps to help them get gear and ammo. Many of this player have stopped to play now since they are getting butt fucked and don’t have money for anything. They don’t have money to starter gear and when they play scav they get fucked over again. I would recommend you start part 3 of the pre wipe as soon as possible. Since they don’t have money for the reduce price event.

any one got a min to tell me how the server/game round works? Like how many min. player join the server or does it wait for max player to join until the round start? Also can people join inside the round? like the round never ends? means I did read as you join as scav you join in the middle of round with a group of scavs randomly.. When players join in, the match doesn’t start until a certain minimum amount of players has been met (which changes per map) or if not enough join after a certain time.
PMCs cannot join in mid game, but players controlling scavs are able to.
Each map has a certain server, each round lasts for one hour total. After the hour ends everything resets, and players have to repopulate the server.
Regarding your death to a player, some players take time to get to locations, even when there’s a large amount of gunfire

i can click retry it will install a bit more of the game and happen again its normally after it installs around 1000MB or so

I've heard of people having better luck with reloadable Visa gift cards instead of the normal ones since their only one way.
I also think you can get PayPal cards too, now that I think of it.

@reef spruce My suggestion for settings: Check that little box called "waiting for 0.12" in your head. 😛 But for real, it highly depends on your CPU and RAM as well. If you have a rather new CPU, either ryzen 2XXX or intel core 8XXX, you should be able to set the render distance to 1000 or 1500, the shadow distance to 90-ish, shadow and texture quality to medium, LOD quality to 2.5-3, SSAO off, contact SSAO medium and SSR off. Someone else mentioned disabling bloom and HDR in their config file helps. If your CPU and RAM are on the rather slow side, make sure to enable the auto ram cleaner. But you need to check what works best for you. I didn't come across the "holy config file or superb performance", yet. What I suggested is just a guideline to get started.

I had it on 1080p [downscaled] and low settings and was getting really bad performance, i just changed it to ultra 1440p and its running smoother lol
almost stable 60 in interchange, and im actually playing the game on my native resolution
ultra 1440p uses 70% of my GPU and 40% of my CPU

You can safely disable SSR and (non-contact) SSAO to get a small performance boost.
And any render distance beyond 1500 doesn't really make a different from my tests, unless you want to see a few more pixels of the sea on shoreline.
