You can try to set the render distance to 1000, the shadow distance to 70-80 and the lod quality to 2. Also try to disable SSR and SSAO (NOT contact SSAO). All that should make it a bit better without sacrificing too much image quality

Try this command in an (admin) command prompt: SFC /Scannow
It should repair issues of your windows OS if there are any
You can also try to reset the router or turn off the firewall, if the command didn't help
Also make sure you installed the LAN driver for your motherboard. You can find it on the manufacturers page of your motherboard

You can try different things like resetting your router, disabling your firewall for a moment etc. to rule things out. Also try to run the launcher as an admin, I think that solved the issue for someone else before

Try to change your fullscreen mode to "borderless windowed" or "windowed fullscreen" using the launcher @fading umbra
@blazing tartan could just be windows. They messed up the sound in many games with a recent update. I read you can revert the update using the settings
If that doesn't help, make sure you installed the latest sound drivers for your motherboard, you can find them on the manufacturers website

Well, from what you wrote, it seems like an issue that occurs when the game becomes fullscreen. Setting it to "windowed fullscreen" or "borderless windowed" could fix it in that case, because then it doesn't actually become fullscreen, but instead a window without borders that hovers on top of anything else. It has some other neat advantages as well

Not that I know of @knotty horizon , just make sure there is nothing between him and the server like a VPN, for example. It could speed up after a while though. One thing to keep in mind: If an error box pops up about a file not being found, just hit "retry", it will just continue anyway.
@waxen notch I don't know when exactly they remove them, but he should contact the support, either via the email/launcher or by contacting @mellow tundra here on this server.

its like some sort of hdr turn on and off. sometime its off, game looks normal. alt tab or restart game, hdr on and everything is over saturated, and on the red side

Well, there is an hdr setting in the config file. You should find it in your Documents > EFT folder
Also double-check your nvidia control panel colour and monitor configurations to make sure everything is fine there

Play the game the way it is the most fun for you. You can try different things and just have a good time in Tarkov. I, for example, started as a noob, played full-gear for a few months after that, but switched to a very slow and chill play style without much gear in the end. I just took my time with pretty much everything I did, but didn't care too much about what I got out of the raid or whether I kill players or not.
Just try a few things to find the playstyle you feel the most comfortable with.

The quests are great imo. You can't go wrong with that.

Skier and Prapor should give you a great variety of mods and items, but you won't have many issues with the reputation if you do their quests.
Ragman is also great, but he already gives you a decent set of gear at LL1 already.

Mechanic has a lot of weapon mods, but most of them aren't really too useful early on. The same goes for Peacekeeper, they just become more and more useful the higher your level is and the more money you have.

As long as you use certain foliage, it doesn't go away.
Also armor increases your chance of survival, doesn't guarantee it. As a long distance shooter, I've had level 3 helmets bounce rounds that pen level 6 armor.

You can also try to enable the auto ram cleaner ingame.
You need to take a look into the log file to check what the issue is. Please don't send any screenshots or information from the log file here. Your best friend is the search engine of your choice or any tech-related forum, discord-server or irc-channel you trust. And no, rebooting will most likely not fix it, sadly.
You either need to fix the broken things manually, or you reinstall your whole OS. I recommend you to completely reinstall all driver software first, including graphics, chipset, sound and lan drivers.
Make sure you also remove the driver control software (geforce experience or radeon software, for example). You can find the chipset, sound and lan drivers on the manufacturers page of your motherboard.
I'm a linux person, so my answer is obviously "Windows Β―_(γ)_/Β―" π It just happens, things can randomly break for no obvious reason. Reinstalling the drivers should fix it in most cases.

Yeah, staff or people with red or yellow colour rarely respond to DMs. The best thing you can do is to wait for the support to respond via email, sadly. You can also try to contact xsolla, but the chances to get a response from them are very small from what I've heard.
But it's weird that you didn't get far with the modmail. It has been merged with the ticket system, which is pretty much another way to contact the official support.

Hello! I loaded in a PMC run of Factory. I tabbed out while loading in, but as soon as I loaded into the map and tabbed back in, my screen went black. I could still hear what was going on around me, hear me moving or turning when I did so. The ESC menu worked fine, and so did the inventory menus. Tabbing out and back in again showed me a single frame of what I saw when i spawned before going completely black again. Any way to fix this when it happens, or prevent it from happening other than not tabbing out?

You can think of it as a "continue" button.
@keen vine depends on your needs.. There is AP if you have a lot of money and want to penetrate armour faster. There is luger and rip if you want to kill unarmoured targets faster. I personally always use PST because it is a great balance between penetration, damage and price imo and I had huge success with it so far.

Make sure you take enough rounds with you. I always go with 2-3 additional magazines and a full 50-round stack. I am using the ammo with 30-round magazines and a saiga-9/pp-19.

It looks almost like a shadow is covering the entrance for some reason. Most commonly found this on labs.

But yes, it will improve a lot of things.

If you take a long pipe and try to look through when you tilt it a bit, you won't see anything. π

Yeah that shouldn't be an issue. You should try to clear the cache and check your game files for issues. Also make sure all your drivers are updated and the drivers of your old GPU aren't there anymore. One thing that is important even with 32GB of RAM: Make sure you have your "virtual memory" set to automatic, otherwise windows and other software complain even if they don't use it.

Try the command SFC /Scannow in an admin command prompt and make sure all your drivers are updated and fine. You can also try to clear your cache and check your game files for issues using the launcher.

as i was saying , in a single Tarkov match , 4-16 players can load into match along side a map complete with all its textures along side a full loot table , yet i with some of my gear cannot seem too load into match, i received an error and lost it all with out ever so much as entering the map
