So, I have over 1k hours on the game. Mainly customs and Interchange. After the battle eye update, interchange, customs, and shoreline freeze at 100% loading map then the game crashes. I can load labs and factory. I literally played customs before the update. Anyone else having these problems? My PC is up to date and fine. Literally installed the update and now I cant play. Any ideas? Tarkov's support system was no help, and gave me a generic "its a ram problem".

@plucky yarrow never seen that. It actually looks a bit like some issues you get when running this game on linux using wine. You could just try the usual things like clearing the cache, checking the game files as well as checking if there is something wrong with your os by using the command sfc /scannow

There are some non-post-processing anti-aliasing technologies that are supposed to make it a bit better, but patterns like that are just more common the lower the resolution

Well, you could try to play around with the FOV to make the angle at which the weapon will be rendered a bit better
Other than that, you should wait for 0.12 because they will add a decent non-pp anti-aliasing iirc
Some AA technologies like FXAA or SMAA are post-processing, which means they will be applied over the already rendered image (much like a blur filter), but there are others that will do the AA in a different way
And of course, a higher resolution will help, but with limited AA options (pretty much just FXAA) you won't see a huge improvement over just having a decent AA.
You don't even need a 4K monitor in some cases, if your PC is powerful enough to just render the game in 4K and downscale it to 1080p. It will not help with everything, because 4K on a 4K monitor just looks sharp af, but it will get rid of some aliasing.
This is how it looks like for me in 1440p with pretty much maxed out settings, FXAA.

There are some more temporary files stored in your appdata directory. You could try to delete those (should be in Local, LocalLow, Roaming and Local -> Temp all in folders named Battlestate Games). Did you check the drive on which the game is installed for issues? Maybe it could be an OS issue, in that case running SFC /Scannow in a command prompt (admin) could help.

...yes, it was never forbidden. There are some simple driver- and hardware-solutions that make the game a bit more vibrant though. No need to install reshade.
Nvidia has "freestyle" if you want a few more options and AMD has a similar tool as well. You can find them in their driver software.

That's a Desynch issue. There's an issue with the server you're connected to, your connection to the server, or your internet itself.
Just hide in a corner, alt-f4, then restart and reconnect.

I didn't want all my loot to go to waste so I attempted to transfer everything to a buddy of mine who is newer to the game, via backpack/thicc case stacking. I should have seen this coming because of the sheer amount of stuff I had stacked, but I was never able to load the raid. I tried a couple of times to reconnect but never could load in. You can see where this is going. About 100 million in loot got lost to the raid because I could not load in and was forced to abandon. It's not the end of the world if I cannot get the stuff back, but I would really appreciate it if I could get rolled back to before that raid. Thanks.

Close the launcher, delete the file shown in the error and launch the launcher as an admin. You can also try to restart your pc after closing the launcher and before deleting the file

Try to delete the "Temp" folder in your launcher directory as well as the "Battlestate Games" folder in your Appdata > Local > Temp directory (I am not sure if it was Local, LocalLow or Roaming, but "Temp > Battlestate Games" only exists in one of them)
Make sure your launcher is closed while doing that

Btw I know this is not tarkov related but say.... if I want to use my ssd to load a game thats installed on steam should I move the entire steamapps folder into the SSD or just the folder of the game that i want to load through the SSD?

You can create an additional steam library folder on your ssd
And install games you want to install on your ssd there.
I believe steam also gives you an option to move games to a different library folder, but you should also be able to copy them over (just make sure you keep the folder structure, for example steamlibrary > steamapps > common > game)
You can manage your library folder in your steam settings > downloads > steam library folders

Dunno if this has been asked before but for some reason the graphics in-game look 'grainy' it's hard to explain but any ideas guys?

Hmm.. It depends on what you mean. It could be that you just enabled noise in your graphics settings, which you can just turn off, of course. If you are talking about some kind of grain/stripes in shadows, you can't do much. It is just the way the engine/game calculates and displays shadows

So what I did I tried to move only the PUBG folder over to my ssd, then tried to open up the TSI folder and my file explorer froze. I forced quit it, tried to start up EFT and it looked like as if I hadnt linked the launcer to the EFT folder in My SSD. I decided to restart and now my ssd doesnt even appear in partitions
