I get 50-65 fps in escape from tarkov on open maps (so not factory) and when I ads with scopes I get 40 fps. My specs are GTX 970, i5-8400, 16gb ram @2666mHz

It depends on where you edit it.. There are simple config files, but if you really want to unlock the server list in the launcher, you need to edit files from the launcher itself, which is not allowed

max ping is a setting in seperate files referenced for the launcher. the launcher is seperate software unto itself and not the game software. I work in IT. There is a difference.

changing the software would be like changing the actual game code to disable their anti-cheat, or like going into the borderlands code and reducing gravity and giving yourself all the money and stats

I am getting no audio in game, and only in game, everything else works just fine. I've tried restarting the game, my PC, and even reinstalled my audio drivers. But none of them worked. I haven't played the game in a few months and I just reset my account, if those bits of info might help anyone figure my problem out.

Because the launcher makes sure the game is up to date, and is part of the auth server afaik.

Yeah, it's just a different form of desync. The "mysterious force" was just a scav shooting you. Client side they were frozen in place. Server side they were still walking around and shooting like normal. This means that for you there were invisible scavs walking around and the server was still registering their damage against you. @timber fossil The only way to fix is ALT F4 and reload.

The game has been crashing more often and often everyday. I even witnessed two hard crashes to where my pc was frozen and not even a restart did the thing. Had to shut it off using a console command

I deleted the game and everything else, scanned pc for viruses full scan opened my case made sure everything plugged in, updated drivers, and checked my temps under load everything is perfect bout to reinstall the game on the ssd I’ll see if that fixes anything 😂

Running a lower resolution will cause that. Because you’re running a lower resolution so it doesn’t use your entire monitor. The unused is just black

So I had to re-install my windows as it was shitting itself. After a while installing drivers and everything I got a idea to install my tarkov back again. But as soon I installed the driver it did not wanted to open. I re-installed it multiple times, same result. Downloaded from the website itself. Won’t work. Any idea please ? Pretty sure this issue with players logging on is affecting me in another way. I can't connect to raids and when I do I can't stay in any longer than a few seconds before getting bumped to 4000+ ping from around the normal 20-40 and getting booted from the raid so I also effectively can't play

Hey! I was having a problem now with tarkov, better to say with the re-installing.

My SSD died and I can for that not reinstall Tarkov because it wants always to install it to the localisation of the dead SSD and than tells me "Oh it does not even exist." No I can not change the localisation sadly. And I can not uninstall it too because of the uninstaller being also dead from the SSD dying.

I tried CCcleaner but sadly it did not help.

Anyone knows which registery I need to delete so I can install again Tarkov?

Did you reinstall the launcher?

If you can't uninstall it using the software list in the control panel, you can just delete the whole folder. You will most likely find it somewhere under C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86)

You can also just search the registry for things like Battlestate, Bsg or the old installation path

#

If you go into your control panel, you can find a list with all installed software. It usually removes the entry if you want to uninstall a software that is not there anymore

Alright I found a ghetto ass solution to my problem, might work for others too.

The launcher downloads a .zip from a link, download that .zip
Unpack it, find what files are broken, remove them from the .zip and try to unpack again.
Point the launcher to where you unpacked the game and hit play, it'll error out and make you repair it, you're golden from there. 👍

I'm having trouble installing EFT. When I open the launcher and click install it just sits at 0/0mb and never starts. I tried the standard windows update, reinstall launcher, run as admin & full access control in the launcher folder. I also disabled antivirus and firewall.

There is a banner message about people experiencing problems connecting to the game, would that stop me downloading the game?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Ok. If you have the files somewhere you can copy them to where you want them and then use the Verify option to make sure it is installed correctly.

Not much @midnight jasper . You can enable the auto ram cleaner ingame, which should not affect your performance too much because you already have 16 GiB. You can also disable hyperthreading/simultaneous multithreading, which is said to help a bit (didn't have the time to actually confirm it myself).

Some people say setting "HDR" and "Bloom" to "0" in the config files helps a tiny bit. I didn't actually check if the values are really already used by the game or if they are just placeholders

About the ingame settings: You should be able to set textures and shadows to high. From my tests, setting the render distance to anything higher than 1000 is not really worth it unless you are sniping over quite large distances (on shoreline, for example). If you don't mind some randomly appearing objects, you can just set the lod quality to 2. I would recommend you to set the shadow distance to at least 60 (better would be at least 70) to make sure they render fine in buildings and underground areas, especially on interchange. You can disable ssao, but I would recommend you to set contact ssao to at least low (it gives a great visual boost without really any performance cost). The three checkboxes in the bottom don't really affect performance. Make sure to set the antialiasing to fxaa or completely disable it.

I really need help! and i would appreaciate it more then anything and i will reward the person who actually helps me fix the problem ❤ please ❤ i only got one disk "local disk(C:)" and when i install launcher it goes in there and when i install the game it also goes in there and when i install the game i either get a message like
"Error, Game update installation error, The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." in the middle of installing the game, or i try to install in other maps on my pc and so and it finish 100% and then says
"Warning! Game launch impossible! Game files integrity is compromized! Repair required." and then i repair and click play and it says repair again.. 😭 also tried reinstall fully 15 times 😭

Turn off any software that actively monitors or reads files (any antivirus, cloud storage service (like onedrive)) and try to launch the launcher as an admin

Check your taskmanager for any software like that as well

You can also check if there are still temporary files left that cause issues. Just type %TEMP% into your file browser and delete the folder Battlestate Games if it is there

Hello, I tried to reinstall Tarkov from the actuall site and when I clicked install button on the page, it was loading for like 30secs and then this popped up, I tried a different browser or disabling firewall but it didnt work so I am asking for help here.
