From my experience, they did a good job with their detection system, so no need to worry about it. It most likely only triggers if the location of the ip changes from europe to america twice a day for an extended period of time, for example, if at all.

Hey y'all, any of you know what could cause rather slow loading times in this game? I take pretty long to load online raids usually which can be an issue when playing with people, and I doubled the amount of RAM I have today which only fixed most of the lag spikes I'd have instead of also fixing the loading times.

Hey guys, hackers are running rampant on labs, I know this is for 'client side' reports and such, but I died for a third time on US servers to hackers. It's ridiculous how we have to wait for a ban wave to get justice. And even then, hackers have HWID spoofers, when they do get banned they can come right back. I feel like the anti cheat is a joke and the way EFT deals with cheaters needs to be updated. I get the game is in beta, but even with beta the game has a very large community and problems like this need to be dealt with as soon as the problem arises. Isn't that what beta is for? I did some exploring on a hacking forum, and people have been hacking for 15+ months without being banned! How is this even happening? Does an anti cheat even exist? I understand how the ban wave is to keep hack developers from updating their software as soon as a user gets banned, but that solution is clearly not working. The best feeling in the world is when you're holding an angle for 10 minutes straight and you hear footsteps and get shot through a fucking wooden box, or even worse a grenade at your feet. Or when you open up dorm rooms and every room has been completely looted despite the doors being locked.

I'm in the top 100 on labs, I've been around the block hundreds of times. I've run into a hacker minimum every 2 out of 10 runs. And I don't throw the title 'hacker' out there easily. I'm the master of sneaky peeks and cheeky prefires, but there are scenarios that obviously involve a hacker.
but times like today I run into them 3 times in a row
and what infuriates me even more, is that these hackers are making actual money off of the game. They farm rubels by using their hacks to do whatever they desire, then they sell them on third party websites. If we take down real world trade by issuing bans on obvious RWT flea market deals, i believe a large group of hackers will vanish.

I was able to put in my email for a password reset, and reset my password, but then I am unable to login using my email and password (that I just changed). Is there any way to to turn a copy of the game into a key to gift to a friend? I had accidentally bought two standard editions upon first getting the game due to it taking a while to go through for the first transaction, and right after had opened a ticket for this problem to refund a copy (that being the oldest one bought). The ticket was left open for 2 weeks without any update to it, and I've decided instead to try and gift it to my friend instead. I've searched for any activation code for it but I assume that's an old way of buying the game and couldn't find a code in my recipts, email, profile, or anywhere. Would I need to try again to refund the game then rebuy it as a gift? Or am I able to get help converting it correctly?

Any estimation on when the download servers will be fixed? I've been reading people having trouble downloading the game for a few weeks now, and having just got the game myself, I'm encountering the same issue.
Downloading the launcher itself, the game through the launcher, as well as the .zip file directly in my browser have all repeatedly failed.
I don't have any buddies that play, so I can't copy anyone else's Client.0.11.7.3333.zip. Can an official mirror be provided?

I don't think there is an official mirror.. I can try to download it myself and upload it to a small vServer, unless someone else says it is against the TOS or something like that. Will probably take more than an hour until I have it on there

@hidden dune try a download manager instead of just a browser. It's a workaround that worked for some people with this issue. You can open a support ticket to give this issue more visibility too

Yeah, a download manager would automatically retry every time the download failed. Doesn't fix the issue, but makes dealing with it manageable. I'm giving it a shot.

Do you have anything running in the background that could access the files? Try to look for applications like bsglauncher.exe, escapefromtarkov.exe or something similar in the task manager and just kill them

Depending on whether the files are still just saved at a temporary location or not, restarting your pc could just delete them and require you to download them again

Question: When I have activated the gift standard version of the game (my original game is early backed EOD) on my separate mail but my friend decided to play tarkov, I seem unable to change mail address.
I did post ticket to support about it, but not sure where to progress from there as they replied that copies are prohibited for gifting. Sincerely does not make much sense to me as this was free copy as I believe meant to be gifted (as said Im early backer)

You'd need a CM to confirm, but it seems the issue is that you OWN the account it was activated on and according to TOS you cannot transfer accounts to anyone, regardless of the state of the code. You should've held onto the code and simply given it to your friend to activate on their own account.

Nothing really. They will eventually become less common with each patch and 0.12 will most likely improve a lot of things
You could try to change a few settings, especially the lod quality, but it will most likely not help much, if at all.

Has anyone had problems with a dual monitor setup where your cursor moves to the second screen and clicking minimizes the game? I have followed everything thier support team has said so far (to make sure I am in full screen which I never changed) and I am still having this issue. My buddy said that restarting the game solved it for him but no luck. I have also tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it as well (which obviously didnt work)

managed to fix this by myself. I think the fix was that I runned launcher as an administration and then go to folder and launced the game manually as an admin.

I think the sudden disconnect with the AC wouldn't do it, because then losing your internet would trigger something breaking.
It may be that because the HWIDs swapped, it triggered the ban because of the portion of the TOS against sharing and giving accounts to other owners. If you have your friend contact support and explain himself, they may be able to reinstate him.

Uninstall from Programs and Features through control panel in windows. Another thing you can try before reinstallling as well, is in the launcher, if you click on the chevron in the upper right (by your profile name) try an integrity check and clearing your cache and try launching and doing a game. If that doesn't work, a reinstall is the best way.

Refunds you'd want to look up their policy on. It has it's own launcher outside of steam, so you will not receive a steam key. A 980m should suffice to play the game albeit at slightly lower settings.

I believe all the keycards have the same spawn chance BUT a couple of the maps have spawn chacne modifiers that lower their chance. I know Labs does and I Think Shoreline does (by 30%) but i'de have to double check.
I don't know about how the spawn rate on AI works.

If my estimate is wrong, at best the spawn chance would be 1% per spawn point, or 3% chance of a card spawning in the raid (because 3 spawn points)

@woven latch Right now we're working on translating the launcher to spanish. Nonetheless the spanish language had been added to the game since a time now. You can choose to spanish in settings, while you are in the menu.

hey, maybe one of you lads could help me. I got a new laptop a few days ago and Tarkov runs terrible one it. (AMD Ryzen 7 3750H and a GTX 1660TI maxQ and 14Gb of ram). I get around the 40-50 fps. sometimes it dips into the 30s and sometimes its 60fps. (i have a 60hz display on the laptop.) If you look at the photo (form msi afterburner) you can see that my gpu and cpu are basically not used at all in some cases. I got the most up to date drivers installed (including, gpu and cpu socked drivers), i also set the power mode to "High Performance" and in the Nvidia it is set to max performance. Anyone knows what I should do to increase my performance?

CPU usage seems fine. I assume you are playing on 1080p? Laptops are known for not being the best (maxQ GPUs or H CPUs are slower than their non-maxQ or non-H counterparts)
But 14GB of RAM seems a bit sketchy, especially since RAM is really important with ryzen
You could try to disable SSAO and SSR ingame, because most people don't see a difference or claim it "does not work"
You should be able to set the texture quality to "high" and the shadow quality to at least "medium"
You can set the LOD quality to 2 if you don't mind randomly appearing objects
I don't think settings the overall visibility to anything higher than 1000 or 1500 is worth it right now, unless you are sniping over really long distances (I usually have it on 1000 on my weak pc)
Setting the power mode to "High Performance" does only waste power without any real benefit
