Anyone have any more recommendations for my problems with loading into games with groups? I frequently crash / load 3-4x slower within groups, but load perfectly normal into factory with groups but no other maps do I load normally, and usually when I load into shoreline with a group I crash or load in excess is 5 minutes... it’s horrible and ruins my chances of getting to loot first 😭 I have no SSD but that doesn’t effect my problem, it would improve load times but not my specific problem, I have good FPS and a good computer and load into maps in less then 2:00 and usually less than 1:00 without groups

Don't CLOSE discord, just hit the X so it goes to your little arrow thing on your desktop
Turn of all the Xbox shit on windows
turn the hardware accelration OFF the usersettings > appearance

im having some freezing/crashing issues wondering if anyone has had similar. Randomly the game will microstutter, and occasionally during these my graphics will freeze. I can still hear the game running in the back ground but i have the same frozen frame on my screen. I end up having to open task manager and end tarkov and relaunch, it has been happening several times a raid. Anyone have any ideas?

@raven sorrel on the launcher, before pressing "Play" on the bottom right, look up to the top right, do you see a profile name, should be yours? If you do, please go ahead and click the drop down, log out, give it a moment, and then log back in again. Give that a try. I am assuming the game is not connected properly to your EFT profile, this could be the launcher, or the website itself. Check this first and then file for support on the website. (FYI, not an admin/support person, just a dude who wants to help).
@proud linden Most likely a RAM issue. Do you have atleast 12GB or more of RAM on your PC? This game is quite demanding and the standard 8GB that most PC's have from a store will struggle to play it. I had this issue a year or so ago for months, I upgraded to 16GB for about £50 at the time, never had one stutter since. Just the acceptable loading spikes at the start.
@shrewd steeple Not really sure why you put this in a support channel when you refuse the given help by @formal dagger but good luck to you. I would suggest using Geforce Experience and setting up a "Record The Last (X) Minutes" keybind as this would not hinder your gameplay and you could just post the clips of their names and you dying at the appropriate place on the EFT website, or just take screenshots of their names and post it here with a statement of what happened and I am sure someone will look into it.
@stark dew @viral granite @brisk mist Load times delays are dependant on what stage, the "Loading Maps" section to begin is dependant on your hardware, your SSD/HDD being able to load the files and equipment and buildings that the game needs for the later stages. The "Loading Loot" stage is dependant on the server and will usually be fairly well rounded at about 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending on your internet connection. The main stage that people get stuck on is either "Waiting for Players" or the initial "Matching", this stage is completely server dependant and has basically nothing to do with yourselves. The server cannot find suitable matches or players to pair you with, therefore it is holding you and possible other players until it is happy to put you in a game. A lot of people will leave this queue, which can mean longer delays for the others in the existing collection of people have to wait longer. But mainly this long wait time at this point is simply down to a low population of people being online in your area at the time you are playing. If you are on past mid-night or during work hours, expect the player base to drop, try swapping to an alternative server region that is further away, should fix it.

@proud linden I would say check them out, maybe remove 16GB and try then, if that fails, swap the other two over for the removed two, if that helps, one is bad, keep swapping until you find the bad one. If you recently added more RAM and then this issue occurred, check your RAM speeds are all the same. something as simple as 2333 and 2600 RAM speed differences can really mess up your PC at times. Most will just error message you about that stuff though.

If you've got decent enough internet, I'd suggest manually connecting to server in another region, It seems like half of the EU region servers and most of the OCE servers are dead and or dying in one way or another.

The netcode is usable, but the servers have to be in basically perfect condition for Tarkov to have no issues

So, I've had the standard edition since Christmas but upgraded during the sale two nights ago to the Edge of Darkness edition. On the launcher it showed I still had the standard edition, so I reset my profile but it says" YOU CAN RESET YOUR GAME PROFILE ON 01 Jun 2019 00:06." I restarted the launcher and logged into the game like it was my first time playing (created a username, etc.), but it gave me all starter edition stuff on the refresh and nothing from EoD. In the launcher is still states I have the starter edition. This is confusing and seems strange that I'd have to wait 3 weeks to refresh my profile for the very first time. I don't even want to play with friends yet because I'm not sure if I'll lose my poo on June 1st. Any ideas as to what the hell is happening?
Battlestate support basically said they can't do a manual reset and that I have if "I did something wrong" the only way is to reset. Like, what the hell kind of support response is that after someone just paid $80 for your game? I love this game, but expected a little more of a proper response back with some actual help. I was raiding in woods trying to do the task for Prapor, and I spotted some scavs, so I shot them, and they didn't even move, so I walked towards them, and they still didn't move, I couldn't even kill them. All of the scavs on the map were frozen (I checked other locations, and the scavs there were frozen too). Eventually I just disconnected, and it treated it normally like I died.
I didn't have very good gear on me, so it's not that big of a deal, but I wanted some explanation as to why that happened.
I kept the loot from the raid I put in my secure container too, so I'm really confused.

it's the individual cores that will be maxed, and that max speed is what determines your performance if i'm not mistaken
one of the things with Tarkov is, if you've got the higher GPU capabilities, you can crank the settings up to take a load off your CPU, because lower settings puts more of a load on the CPU

From my experience I would have to say that most of the time the game is CPU and RAM based.
My Fps did not change when overclock mode was on/off

Yeah, I’ve got a Ryzen 2600X that automatically overclocks the cores that are running games to 4.2ghz. I think it’s just because they’ve not optimized the game for AMD chips yet

Hey, I recently tried starting escape from tarkov and I only get the launcher to run as a background task. Any help? I've easily played it before less than five minutes ago. I've tried ending it and trying it again but nothing at all.
Reinstalling Tarkov is sadly not an option due to my capped download rates
