your pc specs can vary well have everything to do with this. If you have an HDD it will significantly increase load times and the server timer does not wait for your machine to catch up.

When hitting "Play" on the BSG launcher after your game is already installed and the BSG launcher does not launch BSG but instead you get battleye asking for perms (because it re-installed and no longer has perms) You might be able to send that data to support with WinMTR, if you knew the IP to collect the data to and from. It might be helpful to them.

I would guess the outbound to battleeye is getting blocked, either by faulty windows or something else. I've had crap network adapters do that.

Statement Regarding Account Compromise and Request for Assistance

I am writing this statement to explain the circumstances surrounding the compromise of my accounts and to request urgent assistance from the Battlestate Games Support Team regarding my stolen Escape From Tarkov account.

My Gmail account was hacked on November 1st, 2025. Two days later, on November 3rd, 2025, the hacker accessed my Escape From Tarkov account and submitted an e-mail change request without my authorization. Since that moment, I have completely lost access to my Escape From Tarkov account.
This incident occurred only a few days ago, which is why I am urgently trying to resolve the issue before the hacker causes further damage.

I have already provided all the information I still have access to, including:

All e-mail addresses that were ever linked to my account

My in-game character ID

My usual login country and IP region

The Xsolla invoice I recovered
These should help verify that I am the legitimate owner of the account.

I can confirm that I originally purchased my Escape From Tarkov account in 2021 as a Standard Edition, although I no longer remember the exact purchase date. All purchase confirmations stored in my Gmail inbox were deleted by the hacker.
However, I was able to recover an Xsolla invoice dated January 2nd, 2022, showing that this account was upgraded from the Standard Edition to the Edge of Darkness edition. The invoice includes the transaction number, user ID, and other identifying details.

Additionally, when the hacker stole my Escape From Tarkov account, the device and login information associated with the unauthorized access showed a location in Russia and CIS countries, which is clearly not where I live or where I have ever logged in from. This strongly indicates that the login activity was performed by the attacker and not by me.

Despite contacting the Battlestate Games Support Team several days ago, I have not received any response. This has caused me significant stress and concern, as the situation is time-sensitive and I urgently need assistance to recover my account.

I sincerely request that the Battlestate Games Support Team review my case, use the information I have provided to verify my ownership, and help restore access to my account as soon as possible. I have no other way to recover it without your help, and I genuinely hope someone can assist me.

Hi all.

My game does not work after 1.0 release. At first, my game would launch on one of my side monitors, which was no big deal, this was something that has happened in the past. To get it to launch on my main correct monitor, I'd have to unplug my other monitors. If I changed the display monitor in the settings of the game, it'd just crash. If I tried to switch to borderless, it'd crash. If I alt tabbed out at all, it'd crash. So I tried reinstalling the game. Deleted everything related to BSG from my machine and did a fresh, clean install. Now the game crashes on launch and I can't even get in at all. I've done everything I can find online to try and fix this. There are multiple reports of this that I have found online from the past and after 1.0 release. I even got an error sometimes about a file while downloading the game from the launcher. Anyone else experiencing this or know a fix? As I stated, I have tried everything I can find online related to this and haven't found a fix. Windows is updated, drivers are updated, all my overlays are disabled. i9 4070. I've also submitted a ticket to BSG regarding this, hope to hear back soon

hello, i bought tarkov on release on steam and part of the trouble getting in the game on release day was that when i finally managed to get the launcher to turn on without error i received a randomized account name "TarkovCitizenxxx_m4p" or w/e but when i used the launcher to jump onto the website it redirected me to my actual account no problem so i just figured the update just takes a while cuz of the heavy load on the servers but now that it did update and my name is correct in the launcher the game acts as if i never turned it on before and its my first ever start up.. i have to create a new character go through the tutorial and all that.. i dont wanna tag anyone but is it possible somehow to get the previous character nickname tied to my account data as in.. me not having to do the same progress again ? i tried using the same nickname for my character but it was taken so i figure its not lost.. thanks for any advice

Hey could anyone give me some advise I played for about 6 hours on wipe day and then completely randomly I started getting kicked ever raid for server connection error havnt been able to play since anyone ever have this issue I've tried so many things.

you know how to uninstall properly? use windows search and clean it up.

i installed then left it alone tried the launcher until it worked. havnt had an issue since...and the launcher has updtaed 4 times now

I have the same problem, I've been playing non stop all day and then suddenly I can't play on my scav runs saying server connection lost

Yea I switched my servers to lowest ping but still after 2 min I get server connection error so aggravating
