Other issue I’ve been having even with discord overlay disabled (which fixed black screen). Is if I turn headset on while tarkov running. It will hard freeze tarkov for atleast 30 seconds sometimes permanently. Closing discord completely solves or prevents the issue.

No. It's a recent issue that happened yesterday and today. People's games freezing for no reason. What helped me was to Alt f4 and fully terminate it with the terminate command in cmd prompt

It worked for me at least. My game would both freeze on one occasion and on other occasions it would terminate itself. Terminating discord helped with the freezing and the ones where the game itself terminates on its own, i just restarted my pc and cleared game cache and it helped

It works for some, for others it don't. You could try a million other things like a DISM scan, sfc, safe mode, driver updates. Reality is that this is a BsG issue and all u can do is wait for it to get fixed and pray that ur next raid doesn't ruin ur game

can confirm that turning off discord worked for me. However, we had member on the team with discord on without issue. Discord had a update days ago, so if it's some thing wrong on their end, it should have shown earlier. The other difference would be CPU? Out of three member, two had AMD and crashed and the one with Intel did not. I highly doubt that's the cause though, it just the only difference we had on the team
