but lemme say this throughout my 1000+ hours of playing tarkov on my ryzen 5 2600x i've never had this problem smooth fps everything nice around 70fps after getting a new cpu ryzen 5 5600x and playing the game and it being smooth as nice and everything running even better, i quit for a good 4 months now that i come back to the game it lags incredibly bad.

the only thing that comes to mind to possibly fix it is have more space on the same disc where i have the game but back when i played for all those hours i've never had an issue with low space on my disc when playing the game and just the idea of me having to somehow clear out my shtty disc c is giving me brain damage i have a 110gb ssd which has my windows and tarkov on it and some how the rest of the space on that disc is filled by small things https://i.imgur.com/WODEBiQ.png

I would really suggest making more space on C because the page file for windows is there by default and this could be caused by not having enough space to increase the page file automatically.

You can reformat C and keep windows installed yes, but everything else on the C drive will be erased and windows will be like new.

You should delete some videos or downloads in your profile on windows to clear some space or move them to another drive.

The game can not function properly with a full disk like this, there's no space for temporary files. That is most likely the cause.

There is an option in windows called clear type

it asks you questions and will change how fonts look.

Hi. I have encountered a mayor issue with my game. I simply cannot load in to a raid. The issue is: When i load into raid just before my character spawns and i will see the in game it crashes completely, as hard as restarting my complete system or just so that it is completely frozen my computer. I have checked my eventviewer but there is absolutely no normal information what could be causing this. I even bought a new graphics cards thinking that the old one just gave out and still the same issue. I have reinstalled my system with the graphics card change and still the issue persist. No other game crashes my PC, Even Cyberpunk is playable on 50 fps without even a stutter. Also, when this is happening, check task manager performance tab of the internet adapter to make sure something is not uploading or downloading a lot of stuff at this time.

Otherwise, some options like QOS or things like a lenovo network priority option in a control program can cause this.

It sounds like there's software on the pc with this problem causing this, most likely either QoS internet priority of some kind (gamer boost type things) or some other thing like antivirus or firewall. It could also be a problem with the drivers for the wifi and ethernet card, but it should not happen with both.

i just upgraded to 32 gigs and it didnt really make a diff, my tarkov is broken though nothing really changes its performace

yeah so i tracked my cpu cores throughout an offline raid on customs, core 1 stayed locked at about 80% usage from start to end, and none of the others really even went above 60%. Fps went from 90 at the beginning of the raid to about 55 2-3 minutes in, to 45 at 5-6 mins in, dropping into the 30s when scavs shot at me. Is there anything at all i can do or do i just quit tarkov. Getting 50% overall cpu, gpu, and ram usage

Here's a question fellas, my brother (who's 15) had his data leaked by some sort of malware, which allowed someone from china to hack into his tarkov and play for a few months while we were playing other games. When we got back on tarkov to prep for wipe, we played a while and he noticed something wasn't right, (missing loot, items he didn't purchase, etc.) he filed support tickets and even sent an email but the support team is refusing to look into it. How can I help him get this resolved? It's kind of trashy. I've never had this kind of experience with any accounts, bans, or hacked accounts on any game. I expect more from Tarkov support.

Oh, missing element, He was permanently banned for an unexplained reason, he's already resolved the other persons access by removing the malware and changing his password, but he logged on to a perma ban message. and again, tarkov support basically said "oh well"??

We don't know if the guy hacked on his account, or if he was banned for "Sharing" his account. even though he was completely unaware that some hacker from china had taken it over, he even changed the server region to Chinese based servers.

are there any admins online that can help us get the ban appealed? We have a whole group that plays every night, (except not him now..) all of us can attest to this happening. And we have screenshots for evidence. I just want my 15 year old brother to have justice. ive tried lowest settings with FSR, higher settings with no FSR, low and high res, 16gigs of ram vs 32 gigs of ram, different paging settings, every NVIDIA control panel setting, physical cores on/off, cpu affinity, performance vs turbo mode, 99% max cpu performance to disable hyperthreading or whatever

but when im in the hideout i immediately shoot to 144 fps smooth, scopes have no impact on my frames

i go into a raid though and it drops from 90 to ~45 fps in like 3 minutes

thermal throttling is not a problem, i can keep it under 85C with FSR easily

i basically start the raid with 90fps, then i get a massive stutter and it brings it down to 55-60, i think thats the first wave of scavs spawning. Then i get a second massive stutter which brings it into the 40s, and sniper scavs spawn. Thats pretty much it

When Wipe day comes you will see TON of people complaining about even getting the game downloaded. It takes sometime a day or so to get everything setup. I suggest making sure that you KNOW your password and to login on their website and the launcher BOTH at least once every 2 weeks or so.
This will lower the chances of the password reset email needing sent and the Code needing sent to verify your identity. Both of these things make it take soooo much longer cause the BSG email servers have to go brrrrr

From another pc that is not infected with malware please change your email's password and add 2 step verification on your email. Make sure there's no email forwarding nor backup emails added.
Then reset your tarkov password and reformat your main pc. (reformat optional but it's highly likely your main pc is infected with malware of some kind).
