Hey everyone! I’m not sure if this is the right board but i thought it would try anyway. I am a student over at UCSC and I’m writing a proposal for a deep learning algorithm used by AI.
My subject is “degree of hostile intent” based on the visual representation of a characters body language and situational context.
Basically its an AI that will use images to determine if a character is displaying hostile behavior or not. Stuff like barrel direction, aiming body language, use of cover, etc. all the stuff that you see and go “this guy wants to work together” or “i better shoot that guy”
I am looking for images and videos of player interaction of being murdered or working together, and thought I’d send it out to the discord. If you have anything and would like to send it, id love to include it as data if possible!

If that happens a lot add the game and launcher folders to the windows defender exclude list (white list) and make the launcher and two game exes run as admin in the right click properties > compatibility tab > run as administrator.
Reboot and try again.

Anyone having issues along the lines of: When I go to load into a raid I freeze at some point in the 2 minute mark when loading into a raid. When it freezes I get the option to wait for the game to load or close it. If I wait for it to load it maybe loads me in or sends me back to the loading screen with 0 gear on. If I close the game or alt+f4 it then it most likely sends me back to the character screen with none of my kit that I took in to the raid. The PC has run Tarkov fine before and this issue started roughly last week October 22 2022. I have ran an integrity check as well as uninstall and reinstall the game. Also yes I submitted a bug report with pictures

You will have to improve the wifi connection. There's several ways to attempt this, from changing the channel of the wifi (1-11 for 2.4 and there's more for 5ghz), swapping from 2.4 to 5 or the other way (2.4 is better for long range) and moving the hardware or even buying a better wifi card that has an antennae.

What it sounds like to me, if other games are fine, is that your ISP has re-routing issues with tarkov servers due to a connection outside of the country. If this only happens with Tarkov you may need to connect to a VPN to a nearby location to play Tarkov.
You could try servers in another region to see if that gets around this.

I would do a bios update as I have seen that fix this problem for people, especially if it's a lot of stutters.
Mostly that is for AMD systems but I've seen it work on intel.
b550 boards seem to have this the worst.
The latest bios for that board actually says stutters as it's a known issue

From the support website from the motherboard manufacturer. You'll probably need a USB drive formatted to FAT32 but some boards have a exe that does this for you.
Do NOT shut down or do anything while it's updating. It will reboot several times.
When done it will ask you to enter bios with F1 or will boot to windows.

You need to secure your email first or else nothing matters.

From another machine go to your email and add 2 step verification, change the password and check for email redirects/backup emails and remove any they made, secure your email and then reset the password to your tarkov account. Then reformat the pc you are on now.
If your machine has a remote access trojan/keylogger on it they can see everything you're typing.
This usually comes from bad software that you downloaded related to Tarkov.
If you don't have another machine a phone is secure from most attacks.

It seems like this is an issue that a few of us are facing (myself included I almost lost my account yesterday) In time I can see them looking into this issue as its becoming a common issue. If you do get your account back please set up two step verification. The hacker had my account information and password but was unable to log in because I had two step verification. I wish I had answers for you but it seems like this is an issue Battle State games need to resolve, but I am no mod so not too sure.

I keep getting some kind of network error in raid. This error causes a little red symbol to appear in the top right corner of the screen and massive desync/ping spikes. I primarily get this error in the beginning of a firefight, which prevents me from firing my gun (I can still move and see other players/AI move for a while but clicking mouse 1 does nothing but give me an error sound each time I click, before I am killed by the enemy). I wanted to ask whether this is more likely an issue with the game or my Internet service provider, as I am on a new contract that might have switched my Internet from an IPv4 to a Dual Stack protocol, which is known to cause issues in EFT. I've just started this wipe and I would appreciate your help. (I play EU servers and have the closest/lowest ping servers manually selected)

If the ping is fine in the launcher server select and also in the game but suddenly gets way worse for the rest of that match, that is probably an internet service provider issue regarding bad re-routing. There might not be a way to fix this without playing on a VPN to a nearby location, if that is the cause.
Usually with this problem all other games are fine.

If you did not update your drivers yesterday there are other causes such as ram filling up (in this case we will raise page file size) and also a bios update, especially if on an AMD cpu.
