the best way to learn a language is mimic the way you learn your mother tongue, you didn't translate back then 🙂 All the languages I learned I have never translated, you focus on the meaning an context, not on translation

Every person learns different, but translating is not the way, because you make a habit of falling back on your native language. Immersion is the most efficient way. I study the process of language acquisition in uni when I was studying linguistics

😂 Used to think I was an expert at reverse engineering, until I actually started learning more about it. I used to believe that because it was an R.E challenge, that it meant I needed absolutely to rely solely on my R.E tool. I have since learned there is so much more than just buffer over flows haha

My biggest issue was thinking that every R.E challenge had all the answers somewhere that could easily be found just using one single tool like Radare2. That most definitely is not the case lol

I was crying as well, because I was very interested in the topic. Then I reverse engineered my first program and was like "wtf is this?? Jmp? Jne?? Cmp??" Hours of reading later I developed a decent understanding of low level languages and the function calls. Until I ran into an Xor shift algorithm I had to figure out how to reverse. Then I was back to crying 😂

The salt is part of the hash (I believe) and the pepper is stored separately somewhere, not sure exactly how that works though

I've been tracking (as in OSINT) this "hacker group" and analyzing their attacks. So far, they've never used any novel attack, only phishing emails. And they didn't even write the phishing script themselves, just something they bought. Is that really considered a "hacking group"?? I mean, anyone can send you an email, doesn't mean you're a hacker. This is the only attack type they've ever done (besides scamming, located them here on discord and a few other places "selling services")

You'd type a question in, the program would search the code for an answer and then create a vbs to speak the answer. If answer wasn't in code, it'd open browser and use the wshell sendkeys to type your question into a search engine
