The way the jury is picked is what I have a problem with, if you're on the voter registry, you are eligible to be part of a jury, and its kind of unfair if you have something super important to do but you're being forced to go to court to be part of a jury, and that can affect your decision process, aka someones whole life in certain cases

Jury Duty is actually mandatory, you have to do it by US law because if they asked that, than no one would do it

The only solution I can think for mass incarceration is really death penalty, and using a cheaper alterative like firing squad is known to be cheaper than others

I don't personally hold morality above convenience, because capital punishment actually takes a long process to be convicted of, so anyone charged with it, must have committed 1st degree murder or something under the guidelines (Most murders are charged under state law and specific states don't have capital punishment)

#

I agree, America is not that great of a country in terms of quality of life, and it likely won't ever be fixed ever possibly because of delusion from every side of the debate.
