I left my first degree part-way through a year, so technically you're supposed to pay it back immediately. But you can negotiate with student finance and agree on how much you'd like to pay back per month, I went with £5 😂 it makes no difference really

so in 27 years or so it'll be fully paid off, but then all student loans get wiped after 30 years anyway so it's a bit silly paying anything more than that really

I think people assume the no ports thing is a big compromise. but a few adapters and you are good honestly. But I think honestly it all just comes down to preference over a lot of things

@hard stratus but of course you're limited in a lot of ways. adapters are 1) added expenses to an already overpriced machine and 2) non-practical to me. it may not be a problem for you but it is for a lot of people that have/want to use them and keep using them

I have a good chunk of virtualised infrastructure on some servers I run using Proxmox so they're just regular KVM VMs, on those VMs there's some important stuff 🙂

imo there's nothing inherently wrong with putting stuff in VMs as long as you are in control of the hypervisor, make sure its up to date and enable disk encryption on the VMs

I mean, in a school I attended

To enter, it was a month long test, everyday you'd need to go for about 8 to 15h

First two days is about shell and linux

The rest are about C

#

and you are not allowed to use ANY function. Even print.

The only one ou are allowed to use is "ft_printchar" that they give you compiled already

And you just go from there, and start coding like basic libs and function, like make your own print, string object, string functions etc..
