Openvpn just not working, anywhere. Neither on windows nor on thm.

I'm guessing this is thm support kinda. But I'm guessing you can google your device model no followed by only boots to recovery/stuck in recovery mode etc.

And check that the process is done as you've followed from the tutorial and any crucial step is not left out.

I have a openvpn from the subscriptions, generated the config twice, installed the client set it up twice. Connected to it. It's just not working, the vpn. Either on the thm check your connection page or as such on my device's regular web access.

The access page is not reliable to verify the vpn connection. Either try to open 10.10.10.10 in your browser or do curl 10.10.10.10/whoami to check if you are successfully connected.

I get the option to start one machine, either split view green button for the client or the start attackbox above but if i do either of that the other button disappears.

Hmm, my spam filter grabbed me a new phishing sample w/ attachment.
It's an HTM file, fun.

Pfft, the web links embedded are already offline.

Still got to see what their method was.
You open the HTM file, it uses a base64 encoded jpeg as its background.
Makes it look like it's trying to provide you a secure download of a PDF.

Then you get the form load asking for your login info, that it will submit to compromisedDomain [.] tld/pilG/login [.] php

Since the link is already taken down, you just end up on a zendesk article XD

And of course, since it's an attached HTM file, if you look at the URL, it's just the local file storage reference.

Whatever generator they used for the campaign does embed the target e-mail address as the default login name, I thought that was a nice touch.

They do a better job of personalising than a lot of employers 😄

Hello there! So I have an issue with the upload vulnerability room, particularly the jewel one.
I do every steps needed, entering the required command for etc/hosts but once I try to load BurpSuite and intercept the request to access the website, it loads indefinitely and BurpSuite says that it failed to connect to the website. Any ideas?

I have Kali on a VM, and I use FireProxy for the proxy (I setup BurpSuite with the room in THM)

not sure what's happening but i'm having trouble connecting to THM'S virtual machines. My internet speed is good. Sometimes I connect to the machine, sometimes I don't...

SSH is pretty dicey (severe lag). Telnet is giving me a lot of trouble as well. I don't think there's anything I can do but any suggestion that I might not know about could be helpful.

I would try a wired connnection first

there are USB <--> Ethernet passthroughs, you can find them on amazon for $<20

When i starting openvpn on terminal it given me error like that "Authenticate/Decrypt packet error: bad packet ID (may be a replay): [ #49 ] -- see the man page entry for --no-replay and --replay-window for more info or silence this warning with --mute-replay-warnings" and then i cant connect to the labs. In the Empline room entering the target machines ip address in my browser does not work. It does work while using attack box but not openvpn. I tested my openvpn connection in the OpenVPN room and it worked fine. Any ideas?
