So if you SSH'd in from the attackbox, you could avoid using the VPN. Saying you don't need the VPN because you're a subscriber is an oversimplification that makes the statement wrong.

Make sure the IP you're using is the address under Active Machine information, not the IP of the attack box.

so I did have more than one VPN connections running and the script fixed it, but somehow it didn't solve my issue

I have Burp open with proxy Intercept Off and the web proxy On and somehow I'm not receiving anything in the HTTP history
