I've ran into an interesting problem doing the "Common Linux Privesc" Task 4 creating a payload.
When I try to do the payload on my kali virtual box I keep getting Inverse host lookup but when I do the payload on the tryhackme in browser machine it works?
Also the autoscript.sh doesn't seem to run on its own like its supposed to every 5 min. I have to manually run it

where they're like a webserver or regular computer that you need to hack into
ssh often times won't be the first step as that gives access to the back end
or some machines won't even have ssh at all

(my suspicion is that it did not update correctly in the database due to a DNS error). I've written down the solutions so a reset is not that far of a setback. This has no priority, but for swag it look cool to have all the rooms show up as completed. My TryHackMe username is also TechRo

Hello everyone I am having problems connecting to a room with SSH. I am using OpenVPN and I am running it with the proper provided config file and the access page says that I am connected properly but when I try to SSH in it says ssh: connect to host 10.6.11.245 port 22: Connection refused. There is no provided port so I am just using the default one but I still cant connect. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

hey ... its been two days I sometimes get connection timed out issue with the room ip's when loading sites. Also the ssh gets freezed for sometimes and all the buffers comes out at once after sometimes. Its irritating me now.

so if you have a firewall at work, ISP or state level filtering for imgur
you won't be able to see them routing your traffic through other means

You also need the deployed machine to have a web server in order to reach it from your browser

I had terminated and redeployed a couple times and tried on the same machine for ~20 minutes on one of them. Stopped and tried again a couple hours later and all was working again.

so I did a fresh install of openvpn and re-gen'd the cert
made sure no openvpn sessions were open
