I added a write-up of the source room and got a pop-up stating that the write-up would be evaluated. I also noticed that the "add write-up" option was missing after the pop-up message. After a few hours I decided to check if my write-up was evaluated or not, but in the write-ups section I was able to see the add write-up option enabled. Does this mean my write-up was rejected? Hello, I'm not able to connect to the deployed machine even after waiting a while in Network Services room. I have been able to connect to other machines in different rooms after waiting a little but it doesnt seem to work for this room. I have tried changing the VPN file to a different one and even tried connecting to the machine from Windows but it doesnt work. I even restarted Kali and Windows. The access page says I'm connected through vpn but accessing machine with the IP doesnt work. Can someone help?

Are you sure it's only that room because you don't seem to be waiting long enough for the machine to start up correctly.

It specifies 1-5 minutes on some rooms. Make sure you're waiting at least 10 before re-terminating

I opened OWASP Juice Shop room and I waited 10 mins before re deploying and then another 10 before accessing the machines IP. It took a about a min for OWASP Juice Shop machine to open but the Network Essentials machine didnt work. I just thought to try curl on both and for Network essentials, it says: Failed to connect to <IP> port 80: Connection refused

ok np, it's weird because sometimes it lets me in with no errors, sometimes it says reconnect or an error like that where the machine hasn't booted up basically so i just wait about 30 secs and then it lets me in and then i get times where i have to terminate and then re deploy because it says i don't have permission

Curious, new around here. I'm doing daily bugle. Shows "2135 users are in here". I've reset 4-5 times. The machine seems to stop responding (http traffic, ping, etc). in the Attacking Kerberos room the server you deploy quits responding after a few minutes and i cant get connected long enough to do anything. any ideas?? i tried both SSH and RDP ssh works for a brief moment and RDP i loose it within a few seconds of getting a desktop.

Hello. I can't access shiba1 for the kali linux tutorial. I've tried it on my own kali VM. I get the password prompt and access denied when I enter shiba1. I thought maybe I needed to be on the same network as the shiba1 server (still learning how it all works together) so I tried to use OpenVPN on my windows desktop. Seeing some very weird behavior. Working on Tryhackme using my phone's 4G. Connect to tryhackme vpn and try to ssh into machine, both on Kali VM. ssh does not work.

Then I connect to ProtonVPN on windows host. Suddenly ssh connection works, as in I get the password prompt. Not able to get my head around it....

I would suggest reverting back before that happens.

A majority of rooms won't have that "in-browser" functionality bar a few. Most of them will give you a card detailing the expiry timer and IP address. Escalating here since no one has replied, on the room Jack, after a very short amount of time it seems like the box seizes up or something. Dirsearch starts moving at a crawl and starts generating errors, hydra moving just as slow and the webpage is hanging quite a bit.
