I'm getting this error as well. I was just following along this Youtube video (https://youtu.be/C250DCwS81Q) and when it reaches the 9:20 mark where he starts the application, I get:

error TS2688: Cannot find type definition file for 'mime'.
  The file is in the program because:
    Entry point for implicit type library 'mime'

Found 1 error. Watching for file changes.

Haven't been able to fix it even after replacing yarn with npm
