a natural pigment resembling but darker than ocher, normally dark yellowish-brown in color ( raw umber ) or dark brown when roasted ( burnt umber ).

Super fast sketch of a legendary end to a long campaign [6 months] in the BBEG fight against Lord Quincy the tyrant everyone was downed exept for me[A Scottish Dragonborn Bard] and my friend (a Kobold sorcerer) our ranger was on his 1st death roll, our rogue was stable, Paladin barbarian and our fighter were KIA. Me and my friend came up with a plan, he would distract the BBEG with an illusion while he rode in on me [I had the mobile feat and expeditious retreat cast on me] to get in range so he could cast lightning bolt and kill Lord Quincy. He was distracted for the first round he wasted his turn attacking the illusion, which he found out was fake it was our turns now he failed his dex save and my friend rolled high for damage, but he was still standing. The next turn he shot the sorcerer leaving him at 2 HP then it was my turn I got in range and hit him with my Lightning breath killing the BBEG

you can add an HDRI first of all
add a plane under it to serve as a floor/reflection surface
eevee is most suitable for your kind of rendering
enabling bloom and screen space reflections will greatly enhance quality

Mmm I doubt the roughness is sculpted in, it's likely a displacement with it slightly messing with the edges of it. I think it's mostly the color, it looks like the uuh like powdery hard candy. If that makes sense, like if you bite into it it crumples apart 😅

Building a following is one of the hardest things any creative person has to do
A lot of it is just luck
Posting at the right time so a creative notices your art and then they share it with their bigger audience
It can be really frustrating if the luck never hits you
But it's not a value judgment on you or your worth as an artist
That being said obviously you want to pay the bills and gained enough following that it can help you to be seen by people you admire and respect
So I understand how it can be really frustrating

@placid urchin baguettes usually have diagonal cuts not much ideas for the round ones they look like a big sourdough bread all i can say is if you decide to paint it to make it look like theyre dusted with flour also they can have no cuts or 3 straight side by side but as breezy said bread can be whatever you wish

Just got the sapphire dragon mini and was getting the wing in yesterday. I set it on my D&D table and went to take a pic today. As I was turning him so incredibly slowly to see his face his wing caught the dice tray I have and somehow the tiniest amount of force like that snapped the compression clip and now it doesn’t work at all. How is this possible right? Anyway so my girlfriend suggested glueing the wing into the socket but I wasn’t sure it was safe to use super glue on WizKids minis. I’ve often thought of glueing the bases into the dragons I have too but this question was again why I didn’t. This was a birthday gift from her to me which is why it’s now pushing me to ask about it. Does anyone have experience doing this and is it advisable? Or should I avoid glueing it altogether?

super glue is a pretty standard glue to use for minis
just gotta remember to be gentle with glue, better to err on the side of too little and have to try again than to get unsightly glue lumps from doing too much

I know some glues can ruin some plastics and such that’s why I was asking. I think all we really have is gorilla glue. I feel like some can possibly break down certain plastics as well. I could be crazy but that’s just why I was asking.

"model airplane" glue is a plastic solvent, it works by dissolving the plastic so when it hardens again the parts have melded into one
I think it's really cool, but it does melt the plastic, so I guess that might be what you're thinking of

Yes that’s it! I was pretty sure that’s how the glue I used to use on my 40k minis worked because I got it at my LGS that sells model airplanes. I’m not a very good or knowledgeable person on building minis that’s why I couldn’t put it into words as well. Sorry about that.
