If you're like... just starting out I've said it before and I'll say it again, you should try out a program called Draw A Box. It'll teach you the fundamentals more or less. Because looking at all the tutorials in the world won't help you if you haven't learned things like drawing in perspective and to visualize 3D objects in a 2D plane.

Oh, forgot to mention that draw a box stuff will also teach you vital things to keep you from injuring yourself. Like drawing from the shoulder and arm instead of always using your wrist. Recommend paying attention to that part if you go into this for the long haul.

if you wanna work on landscape drawings or just...chill and doodle mindlessly, i like to recommend bob ross streams/videos

it's a more painterly technique, obviously, but it gives you a good idea of how to build a background from the ground up

and that's how i learned to draw clouds

you can even use, like, ms paint and a mouse for that and have something come out really nice

#

I think maybe the way the face is turned make little sense, since it looks at the viewer
It might also be clearer if you draw thinner lines, and maybe look a references, may it be photos or drawings, it should help you !

@worldly schooner Darksword and reaper, as well as wizkids, will be the big 3 doing dnd style minis, but you wanted the best.

GW or Kingdom death. Age of sigmar minis tends towards slightly larger, but still within the range we are after, and their lord of the rings line is a bit smaller, in line with dnd moreorless. Higher quality than wizkids for sure, but more prep.

Kingdom death is... 80% of it is body horror or kinky minis, dont look it up at work. But they are also doing a 'generic' line that is basically just the highest quality classic fantasty minis ull find at that size, so long as you like your ladies. Tamer, but some still show some skin for sure, others are normal. They do limited runs, whats on their store is a mere 1/100th of what they've released, ebay is the go. Watch out for $10-20 dollar ones from china and hong kong, that means recast. I'd expect $60 from the us/eu...

I have a celestial warlock who follows him (mostly because it's the temple he was dumped at)

Very convoluted process. Character is a scourge aasimar. His angelic guide is a deva under the Solar that basically champions Kelemvor. It's been hinted a few times that the character's "father" (as close as aasimar can get sometimes) is actually the Solar because the Solar was summoned at one point and there were a lot of similar features. Also the fact the character has almost like cherubic feather wings that they can't use and can't get rid of either.

The character is very dear to me and has gotten a lot of stuff built up around him even though he's a glorified NPC for another server 😅 where he hands out quests to our version of an Adventurer's League

#

He's in the process of even getting married to one of the long-time players

#

to get this back into art, I drew this a few weeks ago, since his favorite trick is true poly into an ancient brass dragon and smash stuff. His fiance loves being a powerful sorceress casually firing off spells from atop his head
