@rancid plover those minis could use some wash. I see you’re using Army Painter and got wash right behind you (the red-lidded flasks), they really give a nice shadow effect. For the hog I’d recommend a brown one for the brown parts, as well as the horns, and a black (shadow wash) on the black and golden parts

lol unlike most draconic sorcerers she wasnt born with it. A red dragon died ontop of her and she got stuck there while it bled on her for a while. its blood mixed with ehr open wounds and now she has draconic features growing where those wounds were.

If you want a curved sword that could look like a moon and still be real, you should check on khopesh swords. Egyptian curved swords. I don't know if there is a similar sword in dnd. It's the swords you see in Prince of Egypt (at the beginning of the movie) those swords are pretty great to draw too^^
Or Celtic dagger Etsy can be interesting too. They're often used to describe daggers in general but they can pretty designs :3

So at some point our ranger and warlock got separated from the group in the shadow fell. They dodge some big problems by jumping into a cave...with a zombie ogre behind them trying to reach in, a measle trying to suck their soul out, and then stepped on a trap that activated an illusion based on their worst fear (here an aasimar of death who killed the warlock’s father coming to finish the job...). So I felt I had to quickly sketch that. I’ll redo it on the computer later cause the proportions are off but I thought I’d share 😆

around the led light put water with glitter in it
around the water put something semi transparent like resin or plastic
then reach of the number plates have sticks to the resin/plastic or whatever to hold it
and open the numbers up so the numbers glow (except for 1 on the dices since that one holds the battery it cant glow i dont think, but it makes sense)

3D printers are generally a one-time payment, and paying for every miniature will add up over time, but that's another thing not meant for the art channel
I don't believe you can add color, it's a kickstarter-only thing at the moment

I've finally drafted the art for the DM screen I'm making for myself/our campaign! I'm proud of the composition- and there is a symbolism when read from Left to Right.
It's basically broken into 3 images, The left takes place in Amberville, and is a scene when the coven is introduced. The middle is one of the main "antagonist/protagonist" of the campaign- who is a key character on the coven's founding. And the 3rd represents the next generation of the coven. Sadly, i haven't fleshed out the 3rd part of the campaign too much since we are still on 3rd/4th Session (and still around 3/4ths of Act I)

A cheat I used many years ago was to place a miniature in the middle of a bunch of terrain pieces I had on hand and then place all that on a table near a glass door, angle the camera so the glass door is the sky and clouds with mountains in the background

I was thinking if the breath attachment is already molded into the mouth, rather than spend an hour carving it out I might substitute it with another species and just paint that blue
really wish wizkids in general would use a darker grey undercoat at least in general. For a lot of wizkids miniatures I've had to redo the basecoat to better work for the colour scheme of the mini

I let it be just fine@ancient wyvern just commenting on how Moana is not really the most in depth on the many pacific islander cultures. I appreciate the art. And as I said it could just be privilege on my part that has allowed me to have more nuanced take on depictions of those cultures. I didn't say the art was wrong or bad, just a comment on how Moana isn't possibly the best resource for learning and respecting so many cultures
I spread no hate, but the hope that people keep learning and expanding themselves beyond Moana

eiselcross was the most exciting part of the EGTW
i've been playing with inkarnate recently, and dungeon fog, and unfortunately my hand tremor makes it sometimes very difficult to line stuff up, but I'm happy with this recreation of the Mere of Dead Men for my Saltmarsh campaign
(if you look closely at the path marker around leilon/basically follow it down, that isn't deliberate wavering bath and forth unfortunately :/)
