He's an odd character. One of those guys who knew what he wanted to play before he even knew the rules of the game. He wanted to play a minotaur, which is fine with me. And he wanted to be a lycan blood hunter. OK, it's a little weird, but 1/3 man, 1/3 bull, 1/3 wolf... why not? I mean, it works mechanically, but it's just kind of hard to visualize. Then he told me no, he wants to be a were-lizard. I said he could do it, but he was going to have to give me a pretty good description of the character just so that I could tell the story around something that I'm struggling to picture in my mind. I'm doing a series of maps in dungeondraft for my DM showcasing my wizard's Galder's Tower. We chose to interpret the spell's "100 square foot" floors as 20x 5' squares.

I combined the lounge and kitchen floors to create a sort of tavern scene. Piano and stage sold separately from RAW...

Does anyone in here have experience with building terrain using XPS foam? I made an "Ultimate Dungeon Terrain" lazy susan (per the Dungeon Craft youtube channel), but I'm wanting to make more toppers than just the standard stone floor grid. The main one I'm wanting to do now is a water board, but I'm not sure how I want to do the water texture in the foam. Any build I search is just for using some kind of epoxy to make water pools, but I want the whole thing to be a watery surface. Any tips or tutorial links would be great!

All skills have to start somewhere -- as I've told many disbelieving friends, everyone and anyone can draw. It takes persistence and patience with yourself to not give up as soon as you see someone else "better" than you. There's always going to be someone better, it's not something everyone wants to hear, but it's the truth. What you do when you see someone better is study -- what is it about their style you like? Are there any techniques you can learn from them? Is there a way of shading they do that could be interesting to learn? What about the way they draw poses? Are they dynamic? Is there motion in their drawings? What can you take from their artwork instead of demotivation at being "lesser" and instead encourage you to work harder?

I highly recommend it. It's still being worked on, but it just recently released custom asset support.

@brave geyser not sure. I'm in the beta, and I can order full color minis as well. As far as I know, they're still setting up for production (it may take a month or two to arrive), so it could be a few months until they release it

However, if you save your minis in your account you should be able to color them when it releases!

@meager wharf just so you know, since you're the artist you're pretty much the only one who has a vision in your head about what's "perfect." To us, your warm up sketches are incredible and already perfect. To you, they need major improvement. While it's good to strive to be better, don't judge yourself too harshly
