@stoic raft I didn't really think they could look like that either. When I saw the mini and it described as a mimic, I was completely against the design. I loved the model and I slowly started to come around to the fact that a mimic could look like almost anything. Also I liked the idea that when it reveals its self that it trys its best to mimic who ever touched it in the most grotesque way.

Finally finished the campaign party group photo! After slaying an Adult Red Dragon, we carried its body all the way back to the Crusaders Keep. It is here where our fighter of the group proclaimed โGather round and listen to what these Bumblef#%ks have doneโ from then on, as ridiculous as it was accurate, the name of this band of heroes stuck to the masses like glue. (Though attempts to change it to Bumblefox were attempted)

How to diy a cheap battle board:
-Get 4 sheets of your preferred paper size (I recommend A3)
-use a pencil to draw the grid with a ruler (tip: use a ruler long enough to cover the entire paper, helps a lot)
-optional: write your initials or something similar on the corner of each paper to mark them as yours
-go to a print shop and have it plastic covered (cost me about 5$ for 4 sheets)
And voila
A1 sized battle board. The plastic folded a bit due to me being a dumb with packaging it but it shouldn't be too bad
Overall cost: 30 cents for the sheets + 5$ for plastic cover treatment, let's say 3$ to get some markers to draw your battlefield = ~8-10$ tops

Haven't had much opportunity to play him and I'm the kinda player that lets the DM decibe specific patrons and their demands (because my DM loves that stuff and uses it well in his campaigns)

Been working on some art for my new character Iโm starting this week. Shrike the great old ones warlock levistus tiefling. Heโs an albino tiefling born to an eleven family, spirited away from home at a young age after he was involved in an accident where his manifested magic killed someone (first level was divine/infernal soul sorcerer) While on the run he found himself alone in the underdark after his escorts were killed. He stumbled across the beak of a dead grell (he thought it was from a giant owl) that was a conduit for an elder god who helped him escape the darkness in exchange for services to be rendered when the patron needed. He came across a group of people from a blunter hunters guild known as the greymoor barracks after he accidentally used his newly acquired powers to kill a target they were chasing down there. From then on he was raised by a high ranking member of this guild and became a prominent bounty hunter in the city of white helms reach. So excited to play him

I love drawing my players. This one is from a while back now, they actually finished that campaign. The party was a fire genasi that was raised by dwarves and therefor was very rascist of elves. An elf that had a pride issue and constantly tried to explain stuff he didnโt know jack about. And a tabaxi whoโs main flaw was that he couldnโt stand people arguing.

Thanks. I worked with my DM for a few hours to incorporate him into his homebrew world. Iโm bringing him into our level 12 party this week. My last character had a run of semi-evil things he did and we worked on a way to exit him and keep him in the campaign as an antagonist npc to augment the BBEG. And also weโve had no arcane casters this whole campaign and a meta-gamed Barbarian/Druid/Rogue who kind of dominates the melee aspect of combat so my character was practically ineffective compared to him making me a little frustrated

Unlike him, I used no Malibu and substituted it for Rose Water and a little more lemon juice.
My take:
- 45 ml White Rum
- 30-40 ml Cranberry juice
- 20-30 ml orange juice (Too much or it overshadows the taste of everything else in my humble opinion)
- 10-15 ml rose water
- 15 ml freshly pressed and double strained lemon juice.
- Silver food colouring
- 20 ml Grenadine, he did say that it was a fitting substitute for what he was using and I think I did him right by doing so.
And I shaked everything for seven seconds. Not too long or it would dilute too much

I have no good drawings but he is a tabaxi bard of glamour with a small pet octopus, a rapier, 4 knives/daggers and whatnot, he's a sailor so try to get some nautical theme in there maybe. His main colours for his stylish jacket are red, cerulean, green and gold, with some silver inlays. He plays a mandolin that is his favoured instrument but also plays a violin so that's cool I guess

So I have been doodling my Tales From The Loop group's characters. These 2 are Albert (Left - My character who flew to Hong Kong to help building a Spitfire Replica) and Shuri (Right, My GM's character if he is not playing or she woud be an NPC )

hahaha the prop was to use on roll20. the paper is all photoshop. just mixing a bunch of textures and painting here and there. so no real fires.
riddles are tough for sure. I still don't feel very confident on creating those. ciphers are more like a guaranteed result. solving it feels like translating something by yourself, when you're first learning a new language. everybody loves that feeling

I gave up on using washes. I tried just painting the shadows and lights by mixing colors. Iโm quite happy with the result! I think Iโll stick to that now !

The Mark of Making artificer is the daughter of a wealthy toymaker and is holding them up in her mansion, where they caused chaos. Her uncle, Lord Adam d'Cannith was there to catch three kobold wyrmlings.
