I feel like Driders have so much potential along with Chitine to have interesting dynamics as beings both cursed by Lolth banding together to fight against their oppressors

yeah chitines aren't cursed by lolth, they are drow experiments that didn't get dedicated to her so she stole them from the drow

This is my interpretation of chitine as these wayward travelers from below hoping to seek redemption through either the gods of the moon or by devoting their lives to a cause that makes the most out of their cursed lives such as guiding those above ground through the dwellings of the Underdark

I got to name and design a species of cave dwelling spider in my friend's D&D campaign. They're called Bloodstone Spiders. These colonial arachnids possess venom that can cause burning rashes and blisters. They get their name from the red pattern on their backs. They aren't aggressive though, so you could keep one as a pet!

Well he was raised(Sort of) by orcs, so likely his mothr was the orc. However, orcs and goblins interact quite often, so it is possible his father was some orc warlord with a goblin harem, as evil warlords are wont to do. To be honest I haven't worked out everything about his backstory save that he was raised on the outskirts of orc society and grew to hate them, and that he works for the Undertaker's Guild(Golgari reflavoring)

any reason why? HOTDQ is an absolutely trash module from an objective standpoint, i had to help my dm run that and their are SO MANY things that reinforce what WOTC have admitted was a rush job. RoT is much, much better from what iv seen so if the DM was turned off by HOTDQ's ruffness let emm know that ROT is a big improvement.

@toxic axle They also DMed our homebrew campaign on Mondays, which was their first time DMing; they started running HOTDQ with another group at the same time. I think they just got turned off by the mess that was HOTDQ, and preferred their own homebrew campaign (which was great).

@jolly walrus this is hilarious. droop was adopted by our Genasi Monk as a mascot in my LMoP party as well. I'm playing as a half-orc Ranger and I keep giving Droop incentive to train lol he hits some pretty good shots

The party also adopted a wolf in session 1 from the Cragmaw Cave and named it Gobbo. I'm giving the wolf Revised Ranger UA beast stats and making him Droop's mount. They're both big favorites of my players, so having them return is going to be amazing. I plan on having them show up during the oni encounter in Triboar if they decide to do it.

Ahh! So this table features many things, the concept was designed around the aluminum rail system. This makes the table semi modular as you can attach things like cupholders, dice boxes, trays for plates and character sheets/laptops, and phone holders with a hole cut for charging.

the TVs purpose is for digital maps.
the big reason is that I use Dynamic Dungeon animated maps.
When I am playing a game that does not need the tv just slide the top back or use a wood insert that covers the tv and drawer slides

The new ranger Droop was given two placebo magic items by Reidoth, a Cloak of Many Fashions (told it was Elven kind) and a flawed Dagger of Warning (Puffin Forest style) to give him some needed courage.

I'm giving it to him as a gag. They're pretty worthless overall. Many Fashions is a vanity item that just makes your cloak look different. The flawed Dagger just says "Something bad may happen today!" and will say "I warned you!" from stuff like being surrounded by enemies or stubbing their toe.

I've homebrewed his actions and such, but his stats still rely off a red dragon. Though his attacks deal acid and fire. Which can also become like a terrain manipulator. Causing really dangerous ground effects.

I've your'e feeling very ambitious about the hill giant's clothes... You could try painting patches on it. Its unlikely that such a large, dumb creature would be able to manufacture their own clothing,but they could roughly sew together hides and looted cloth.

After making the previous box and taking some of the advice (mainly that I'm right handed so it made no sense to have my tray section on my left) I've made some improvements to the new box :) got a metal strip in the lid that I can stick magnets to for things like initiative, when it closes it's a bit more snug now and with the belts acting as the latch I didn't need the horrible latches on the front this time, still debating if I should put some art work on the centre of the lid though to make it stand out a bit more
