#chopin is giving me a headache

hi, very new pianist here
i have very little experience playing the piano on a more advanced level and decided it was a good idea to learn chopin prelude op.28 no.4
this, if you couldnt tell, was a bad idea, and even if ive made it through the first half of the song alright in a month or so, ive hit the hardest technical section, and have realized MY HANDS DO NOT MOVE LIKE THAT.

anyone have any tips for this section? thank you! :)

Practice the jump millions of times so ur instant in that cord position but also u kinda chose actually one of the hardest preludes from chopin not in terms of technique its quite easy but in terms of musicallity its really hard. But the only solution is to practice the jump with that cord position together after the jump ist prety much straight forward

yeah you have to get those jumps into your muscle memory

dont play those chords too loudly or else youll miss out on that gorgeous melody

i didnt find it too hard to perform ive played it in a concert before

the climax of ts piece is very rewarding
