New version 1.0.4 for Night Slashers: Remake is now live on all platforms!

New Features:

  • Added new death animations for the Executioner enemy type
  • Binding option for simultaneous press of Attack and Jump buttons
  • Intro sequence now replays after staying idle on the title screen
  • Option to disable the grain filter in the options menu

Adjustments:

  • Tweaked Mad Doc's attack patterns
  • Improved wall-bounce mechanics for smoother gameplay
  • Adjusted immunity frames on super attacks and grabs

Fixes:

  • Resolved issue with charged attacks not always starting
  • Fixed tutorial enemies not reliably falling to the ground
  • Corrected a rare bug where Jake's first grab would misplace the enemy
  • Additional minor bug fixes and adjustments.

Uhm...just a quick note, after the newest update. The "Controls " menu is simply unaccessible now.

Other than that, the game plays much much better now. Much more fair, smoother and fun. Kudos for the changes!
One thing I still don't really understand, what's the line in Hong Hua lifebar for? It doesn't let you use her fireball when her life reaches that line. You can only use it when her life is literally almost zero. Also, now she automatically jumps and fires the fireball. Is it intentional?
