I heard it is important to go to a university with good ranking, because it would be more recognized and therefore easier to get a job. How true is this? How much does it actually help?
Does it help a bit but not matter that much, or is it super duper duper duper very important?

Idk abt other subjects but for a med/dental student having a high ranking university, does in fact make your degree more recognizable. Having a low ranking one just means more paperwork or time to recognize ur degree I think. Unless you studied in europe and went to another place in europe to work.

Also, if it's a smaller/newer university it's possible they won't give u the same university life compared to another. For example; they'll have fewer clubs or student associations, or even facilities.

I think an advantage of a high ranking/well known university is that they have more connections cuz of a good rep, but this doesn't mean every low ranking university is like tht.

But the quality of education in a uni ranked 150 and a uni ranked 15 isn't vastly different

Idk about other countries, but unis in australia aren't helping you find internships, that's all on you
