Are you a student who's frustrated with the lack of available subjects in your school?

Hey! I’m a co-founder of AnithUncommon. My friend and I have been frustrated with the lack of accessibility to humanities (i.e, unpopular subjects) in our ‘developing’ country. This is how AnithUncommon came into reality. ‘We turn the uncommon into the common.’

We are a student-led community that welcomes students globally to make unavailable, uncommon, or unpopular subjects more accessible to everyone through collaboration on notes and live, free Zoom meetings.

During weekly meetings, students would collaboratively learn the material they chose. Currently, the Cambridge Level curriculum serves as the community’s basis, introducing our first-ever student-led subject: History. So, we are still searching for mentors to teach other subjects (Literature, Sociology, etc).

Study sources will be made freely available and readily accessible to members of our community only.

We aim to create 2 other ‘projects’, including:
A public community website for updates.
A ‘studygram’ sharing about the community + study tips.

On the website:
Updates on the club will be posted regularly.
Practice Essays for specific subjects will be posted, alongside the writings students may want to be published (it will be surveyed and peer-reviewed).

What we need:
Human Resource Department
-Communication Operation Manager
-Student Representative
-Security Manager
-Website Manager

Public Relations Department
-Public Relation Operator

Social Media Department
-Video Editors
-Graphic Designers

STEM Subject Department
-STEM Curriculum Producer
-STEM Mentors

Humanities Subject Department
-Humanities Curriculum Producer
-Humanities Mentors
