Not sure ab schools but programmes don't look at igs much, u only need a levels

And dropping a math isnt a bad decision u can take math in a level coz it has the same content and some more topics

hello, i gave all the same subjects as u including add math

it depends honestly

first factor is if you are good at math

#

second factor is if u are SURE ur going to take maths in a levels

#

third factor is when u are giving ur exams, in O/N session or M/j

#

and fourth factor is if u like math

but before that

considering ur only take add math bec u think it'll look good on college apps

what matters is getting a GOOD grade in whatever subject ur giving ESPECIALLY in igcse

wait i dont understand if ur still not done with ur igcse or if ur done and waiting for result

if ur done with igcse and get a not so good grade in add math, pls reflect over whether or not u felt like u learnt anything from the subjct and how much u enjoy it and how much stuff u grasped

you DONT need to take further math in a levels AT ALL its 10x harder than add math and its going to be useless in pursuing a medical field. add math is enough for that

and a levels regular math is MORE than enough for a medial degree

however, if u are still in the process of giving igcses, and u are appearing in oct/nov i would suggest dropping the subject if ur already struggling with maths and u have the workload of all the sciences to do asw

if u rlly rlly rlly rlly wanna give it, its probably going to drive u insane studying like atleast 8 hours a day to finish the syllabus and rev and practice for all the subjects

its not impossible but again it depends on how much u like add math

but, if ur appearing next yr in may june

then u can give add math easily u have plenty time for all subjects

but before making that decision u have to determine whether ur grasp in regular maths is strong enough or not
