Aww np bro, you're really strong to even type this out. You don't need to worry about grammar or length, it's ok. Vent as much you're comfortable with and feel like doing.

Really sucks how a few paths are closed for you and its not going to be easy at all, but eventually thats probably going to be reality. You'll have to work sooner or later. I'm so so sorry you have to go through this, but you've been so strong so far, and you can continue, no doubt. Trust in God, and trust yourself a little, its going to be painfully hard but there will always be some path that opens. Maybe it's going to take a couple extra years, or a lot more hard work, but Inshallah, you'll find yourself in a position of happiness. Praying for you.

I get what you mean about cutting them off, and I can honestly relate. They're your parents at the end of the day and it's hard to just ignore that fact, but you need to prioritise yourself, and if they have such a negative impact on you, you need to distance from that. Maybe don't fully cut them off, keep small contact. A few visits once in a while, text sometimes, but not enough that you seek their opinions or try to play an active role in their life. It will exhaust you. You're already a doing the right thing by actively trying to avoid turning out like them.

It's always easy to imagine a happy life, but achieving it is hard. Some people are born lucky, but majority of the people will never admit their struggles and bottle them up. You're already stronger than most people for admitting what's bothering you. I don't know what to suggest for your future, but it isn't over. You're still young. You have time to make it work, whatever path you chose.
