It's a common experience. I've known a lot of people who write and day dream like this. Living a more interesting, successful life in your head is an escape and if you think it's not effecting you too much it's not necessarily bad, but you should make an active effort not to drift off in likr class or when ur supposed to focus. Keep it to mundane tasks.

i mean its very normal since a lot of ppl just wish something good happens to then like their crush fall for them so they make an entire story of it. it kinda like a therapy where you're expressing ur own emotions to ppl. And day dreaming is also normal since many of us has done it but it could be kinda harmful like u cant be day dreaming while ur studying which in other words means that day dreaming will zone u out of reality. overall i believe its very normal and if ppl call u a weirdo for doing that just tell them that they might have done it before too

Anon, as long as it doesn’t interfere with your day-to-day activities and responsibilities it shld be ok... but do try to live in the moment.. its easy to get lost in your head sometimes and miss out on things that are happening around you and that isn't always great

as everyone above already said, it's a sorta escape from your own life

#

everyone wishes to live an enjoyable life, one that isn't mundane, so we tend to turn to our thoughts to imagine a life you'd enjoy more

#

almost nobody can be contempt with their own lives, so you shouldn't really worry
