Uni subject requirement

Hey guys, so for my AS i picked all science subjects however my true passion is cybersecurity and tech stuff.
Would you say its absolutely impossible to take cybersecurity in the future in uni or would some unis make an exception (I didnt take ICT and computer science in igs too, for personal reasons regarding the school)

Ive also heard that if you took a well considered and good online course, the uni might make an exception for you as long as the course has a certificate.

That really depends on what university you want to pursue to. Most unis may require at least 2 science subjects and 1 math. Not taking ICT or Computer Science, won't affect your chance of getting in uni you wanted, tho if you take a CS subject in A Level, they might give credit hours on that, making you to skip an entry level course

also, I did not take maths in A level at all, and I still got in for Computer Science. However, I was required to write a placement test as a prerequisite for Calculus

Oh thank god, I did maths in IGCSE but not in A-levels, and im not the best at it too so maybe after A levels I could take a quick course on it again or review it in detail

I'm taking a coding class and we are going to build an app soon so that might help too

You can take a lower level math course in uni as a prerequisite. Here in Canada, they offer something like that, but it's not guaranteed they will take you in
