I’m going to begin my A levels after summer break and will be taking physics, chemistry and biology as my subjects. I want to study medicine in the UK, so I’m confused on whether I should take maths as a fourth A level subject or not, since I heard it’s not needed but I’m not sure. I don’t want to overburden myself with a subject that’s not needed for what I want to pursue.

I just want to know, should I take maths in A level if I want to study medicine in the UK?

Depends which uni you go too, most will accept physics instead of math

#

You'll have to search specific uni requirements to see if they will

It’s not needed but good for backup

However if u think its too much for u then just do phy chem and bio

I took for maths for AS and honestly im thinking of dropping it for A2. A2 can be hectic with doing application process and extra activities for cv so better to take 3 subjects and just focus on them
