Not sure where to go

I'm planning to take comp sci but I'm not sure which universities or where I should go, is there any way to narrow down what places would be suitable?

I've seen a few in canada but either it's too expensive or the campus life sucks

I think wollogong dubai is good but I don't wanna study here😭

waterloo also seems fine

uni of montreal is good but I need to learn french

That's an Aussie uni btw

With a secondary campus in Dubai

Main uni campus is in Wollongong NSW which is in a city next to Sydney

Check it out its not bad

With Aussie and Kiwi unis, the unis only require grades, no extracurriculars and allat

Won't the campus be too pricey though

Imo first get a few countries you wish to study in your mind

Then get a budget which you can work with then look at unis in that threshold

Btw also look at living expenses cause depending on each country they are extreme high and can sometimes even equate the tuition fee prices

Like Canada has a very very pricey living situation cause my friend in Vancouver pays 2k dollars a month for a shared room

But this isn't everywhere of course

Also if you have a very bad planning like me 😭 try agencies as well around you

They help tremendously for ones who have literally no idea at all

That's true actually and Australian universities are really good but if you want a degree from there but for cheaper going for secondary campuses work really great

I'd love to go to Canada and it was originally my first choice overall but the expenses rlly took me away

the issue with uk, us, canada, aus and nz is youre very unlikely to get scholarships

I looked at like one university in canadq and u need like all A's and A*'s for even a 25% scholarship

Or was it 50..

you need all A*s to be considered for the scholarship

but they only give it to like 10 kids

the reason idw study here is cuz the job market is genuinely so bad for immigrants

Out of all these only Germany and UAE give scholarships and won't break the bank

But Germany almost zero has bachelors without German language

But if you learn German till the level they need I think B2;

European nations if you look you will find good unis for cheap in Italy Hungary Spain

no I mean like, they give more priority to Emiratis and you basically get thrown aside if ur an immigrant

Sadly this is everywhere apart from Europe where they encouraged immigrants and give scholarships left right and centre

The top 100 unis are all the same too tbh

If you want to immigrate to a particular country

Getting a degree there is a big first step

At an undergrad level

No uni is far and beyond another uni at specific fields

Just pick countries you like and apply to unis in those countries that have your course and preference them in order of which one you vibe with the most

Assuming it's in your budget
