🧍♀️
there is just something morally wrong about breaking your father's trust by wearing something he bought you behind his back
is the attention you recieve from wearing it behind his back more significant than the trust you have built with him?
^
i used to wear shorts even though father dearest didnt allow me
i just wanted to be comfortable man and i felt really good wearing shorts
i try to get my dad to see reason and find a compromise, but he wouldnt so thats what happened
i can relate with thsi peson to some degree
Damn y'all parents are strict
Low-key I walk around my house naked
No boxers even
🙏

Only discordians worry ab digital footprint
Nah think ab it
I can say the most outta pocket shi
And it don't matter
I can just make a new acc
And y'all will think I'm a new person
no we dont
You ain't that smart lil bro
ok
Prove this account goes back to me
🗣️
There is no connection
Even the email is a throwaway
wow
The number is a burner
u took all the precautions
YEAH TYU IS RIGHT
Tyu is the smarter one outa yall fuckers
Bro i-
I laughed at this omg
woah you're here too? feels like inspection
Lol, I realised that being in more communities who undergo similar experiences is copium to some extent
I get to relate to more people is what I'm sayin
But yeah, it's been a while, just never really noticed this channel
fair point
also more help
Yeah mostly that too
as level comp sci channel in igcse server is not that active
so the a level and znotes server are my go to for that subject
I struggle with self studying and receiving divers help really helps tbf
Oh yess
Exactly
They are more active here
divers?
I mean
diverse?
I shy away from saying that I don't understand sometimes, so I just come in here and ask instead
that makes the igcse server less active🥲
People have different viewpoints of understanding,
TRUE 😭
not knowing something and trying to learn it is better than knowing something and not trying to learn more
most of the time, you'll learn something new alongside it and help others like you in the future
Well I mean, it hurts to annoy them lol, kinda adds to the burden, though I know that it's what the channels are made for
don't they want the burden? they're answering questions so they can get better haha
pretty sure helping people is only a small part of it, the learning from solving them is greater
it's basically a way to abuse the feynman technique
Yeah lol, hey that made me realise how pointless my excuse sounds, maybe I should ask more questions
OH YES
definitely, I usually open up the channels just to look at the questions and solutions people have posted
I never go: "oh man, that guy is absolutely dumb for asking that question haha"
everyone benifets when someone posts a question
But you can still go "damn that's easy asf, can't believe people struggle with that"
Best form of revision in my opinion
it wasn't easy af at some point while learning it
yeah, especially the long questions
I wish someone would pin difficult questions though
or important mark scheme definitions
Those stick out great, feels good when you develop a pattern recognition and realise that most questions are similar
builds up over time into a useful glossary for students
precisely
Those are a thing in igcse channels, you should definitely suggest that
Or atleast make a thread and put in all the questions you found challenging
I'll probably just screenshot all difficult questions I find when I go on a past paper marathon
Yeah, share it out there too, maybe someone else might benefit from it. I mean you did wish people had done those before you did, might as well be smart to be that person you once wished you had.
it would still help me, I have a file where I keep all the questions I got wrong so that I could solve them in the future
especially useful for mathematics
for topics where memorization is a priority, I try to screenshot all relevant markscheme definitions
That's pretty great, when do you revise over them? I do that except I use anki, I realised it only gets overwhelming the more questions I add
whenever I get a certain topic wrong in a past paper, I solve 5 wrong questions I did previously and add the one I did wrong into the file
Makes sense, but don't you end up forfeiting the rest if their all stacked up?
if it gets repetitive, I ask chagpt to create similar and more challenging questions or use topicals
Oohhh good idea, chatgpt is really good
it's in a rotation, so I get to complete all the questions at some point(if not being able to complete all the questions was your question)
I see, makes sense, hey good luck!
I have to get going
Cya
Good
