you gotta stop looking at this year, as a year
sounds a bit weird at first but you have to take off the lens that this is "2024" and that next year will be "2025"
they are basically the same thing
everyday is the same
just bc a new year comes around doesn't mean some grand change has come about, no the colors arent inverted, no fireworks dont come out of your doo doo hole now
its all the same
you should instead focus on every hour, every moment that you're conscious
consciously make good decisions for yourself
you should be able to differ between choices and weigh said choices as "loss or gain"
because once you start consciously taking "gain" choices, or beneficial choices for yourself.
slowly but surely, you will get to the future you wish to be in
just because you did something new one time doesn't mean your life will immediately turn around
it doesnt work like that
life seems to zoom by pretty fast but really it's slow as fuck
your life and you especially, dont reset every new years eve. Which is why i dont really celebrate it or stay up till 12am for it
cus i know its the same day
what needs changing is you and only you can change yourself
everything eventually pays off, its part of human nature to doubt yourself and to want to give up
this is where the infamous "dont give up" quote comes into play
be stubborn
even if you dont see shit changing, or rainbows shootin out of your doo doo hole. As long as your methods are correct, keep pushing
keep improving your methods/techniques
keep trying to be better, keep pushing, dont give up ever
dont water down life into shit like "oh this is my year" nah bro this is your life
make it count
