Last holiday break in June 2023, I attended a summer programme for architecture at BINUS University in Indonesia. There, I learned the basics of architecture history, 3D modelling, sustainable architecture, and maquette making. At the end of the course, I gratefully became a top student in the class. This experience has become the foundation of my architectural knowledge. Moreover, since I was in middle school, I started to learn lots of tools to create digital designs like posters, videos, and infographics to promote my clubs and organisations more effectively to the public. Hence, with those skills that I kept on polishing until now, I believe that I can adapt well to learning digital tools and practical works of architecture along the way, as well as be able to present my work to the audience adequately.
I love to work together with people when we have the same excitement for a certain goal of a project. This becomes a reason why I join and create organizations. In 2022, I joined Leo Club Jakarta Humanita and became their creative team as well as social media manager. We host lots of events to solve problems in our surroundings, such as the Kaleo Project, where we give out free meal boxes to the public, especially those with low incomes. Similarly, back in 2022, my friends and I joined the Canadian Team Mathematics Contest, hosted by Parahyangan University and Waterloo University, and earned second place as a team. In addition, I am also proud of my communication skills, which I trained by joining the Wardaya Gavel Club to evaluate my public speaking skills. In my second year, I am so grateful to have been able to gain the role of Vice President of Membership. I believe that my teamwork, leadership, and communication skills could be a great help to my university life in general.
#Yelloww, hey guys could you help me proofread my personal essay?

Since 2021, I started to do several voluntary works to fill up my time and meet people. I helped with funding, doing basic construction work, and painting houses for low-income families and those affected by the cyclone happening in my country by participating in Habitat for Humanity activities; representing my school and club to plant mangroves in some conservation areas; and participating in a clean-up day. But out of all, the latest work I did was the one that impacted me the most. It was WOW Day, an event held by LP 178 and Asia Works, where we brought about 50 children with chronic illnesses such as leukaemia and cancer to the Kidzania to have fun and spark a light within them to find out their inner dreams, goals, and purpose in life. Being deeply engaged with them makes me realize that the true meaning of life for me is to share happiness with everyone.
