Hello everyone, I'm currently in Year 12 and have just finished my AS exams. I wanted to do medicine in the UK and I was wondering if let say I want to apply for my entry in 2025, should I sit for the IELTS test and UCAT test next year? If so, after getting my scores right, can I still use it to apply for universities in 2025 ? Or do I have to resit again in 2025?

The universities I'm aiming are University of Manchester, Southampton, Plymouth and possibly Bristol.

I also want to ask what is the difference between conditional offer and unconditional offer?

Pls help me out! 😭👍 Because it's my first time applying to overseas institution

also i know everyone says u only need 2-3 months to study for the ucat but id encourage u to start studying now

#

i got a pretty average score for the ucat cos i feel like i didnt have enough time to study

#

essentially its just an iq test so u gotta do lots of practice and shit

#

the one that needs a lot of practice is AR which for me rlly improved w practice

#

also id recommend u get medentry instead of medify since it prepares u better for the test

#

they have harder qs than medify

ohhh sorry i thought u meant u were applying for 2025 entry

#

nah then u can just worry about that next year then

uncut ore
#

u should do lots of practice

#

esp cos like

#

u gotta fake a high iq

#

unless u alrd have one then yea

#

cos the biggest problem is timingn

#

so basically

#

they offer like services 2 help u prepare for the ucat

#

mostly practice qs

#

medentry and medify r basically the same

#

but med entry has harder questions

#

and ya medify has more qs but like

#

there are 10k++ qs on there

#

uarent gna do them all anyway
