depends on which country youre from fr
ask ur counsellor which med schools are good in the country u want to apply to
make a list
research as well
Oh
fr
after that you would want to see the requirements of those unis
do they require specific subs from you in a levels? maybe , maybe not
gotta find that out
If for example they require like 4subs and i take 3
then what are the minimum grade requirements for you to get admission
youre not going to apply to one uni
you will be applying to 4-5 unis
if you see all ask for 4, then mate
either change yo country or take the 4th sub
when is ur AS exam
Jan and may
jan???
January and may
Why?💀
when is ur A2
Nup
Nah seriously?💀
yeah
So AS>A2?
you apply with ur AS grades, but before A2 exams. so they see ur AS grades and predicted grades ur school makes on you based on ur AS grades + grade 12 performance
then unis can accept you without conditions - which means without seeing ur A2 grades
IF only you meet and exceed the grade requirements
I mean if i AM PRIVATE STUD?💀😂😗
ffs bud yo aint got no plus point here to work with befr
anyway
if you dont meet the requirements
they give you conditions
for example
3B in A2
depends on uni ofc
since youre trying for med, the requirements will most likely be skyhigh
Is my life going to be f bad?💀
im doing psych
As bio stud?
Oh
Nah
i wasnt
ABAY
last i did bio chem was in igcse

Like have u seen BIO student dying?
no fucking uni student is alive
Oh
nws
wait i have a google sheets i’ll send u
it’s more tailored to UK unis but it has some europe info
Oh yes pls
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NOd_LuPdYldVe-JTCcieC8fR9WqiK_tugmbyMqxyxKc/edit?usp=sharing
double check that it lets you see?
Oh thankkkkssss
Yup it does
Damn so many messages herw
Idk bro. My uni said do IELTS then prepare for ucat for next year. Also you need to start applying early because it’s very competitive
Especially uk
I got bunch of uk uni vouchers lol
Send some😂
Without completing A levels?
I mean apply before results ya get a conditional offer
Idk i will let you more once i get to know more
Okii i will
What if you get bad grades in your A2 exam, like they’re below your predicted grades, what happens then? They take away your scholarship?
well
if you get unconditionally accepted based off AS and predicted grades
it doesnt rlly matter what you get in a2
you would just need to send in your grades and like graduation completion certificate for their record that you did complete it
Aaah
for scholarship im not sure
might get hampered
but admission shouldnt afaik
Hihi! I was looking into doing psych as well... I am struggling with what country I should look into (the countrgy I originally wanted to study in had limited unis with the degree)
I would like to hear what u did and how u came to the decision! (thanks)
Gave +1 rep to thatgirlduh#0
Hii! I have a couple of questions regarding uni admissions. So, for context I want to do MBBS but I wouldn't mind BDS either. I understand that for both of these career options, I'll need to clear up MDCAT before looking to apply
My problem is the backup options. My career councilor wants me to apply to other programs (biotech, genetics, microbiology etc) in case I don't get into MBBS or BDS
But I don't understand how I should go about applying in these programs...Am I supposed to start applying after A2 results or is right now the best time to apply? I've been looking at my local unis for admission in 2024 but none really show open admissions or anything like that. I'm so confused rn. Maybe my questions are stupid but I really need someone to guide me 🙏
ok idk anyth ab mdcat or med in pakistan but most uni apps open like jan-march and close latest june (?) and u apply with ur a2 predicted grades
