almost all universities accept AS level grades, although they accept you based on ur AS grades. it depends.
for example, if ur AS grades were not up to their standard requirements they might give you conditional acceptance. "2B 1A in A2 exam" ~ these kinds of conditions. it obv varies between universities
a lot of unis accept you unconditionally if your AS grades were good enough for them
depending on which country you apply for in unis, u need to take ur A level subjects accordingly
there might be requiremed subjects for you to take, generally math chem bio is what i see people take. but again, depends on which country ur applying to.
its best to start preparing early, ask ur school counsellor to suggest you some med schools in the preferred country u want to study
research on ur own as well, dont completely depend on counsellor.
u can always email those uni admissions office and ask them about their subject requirements for Alvls
