Hi guys just wanted ask if anyone else went through a difficult time with getting response from the Canadian embassy. Im going through that moment rn and was looking for anyone with insightful info as to whats going on.
So to let you know, i applied for my study permit in early August this year and was hoping to make it in time for September intake, but it delayed and ive now had to defer to the January intake. As of now im still yet to receive any feedback as to whats actually going on and of the final decision. Currently stressing my life away🙃. Does anyone have any useful info for me to help.

PS ive already emailed them like twice and still no ACTUAL response on the matter.

Hi there. I've hear that the Canadian embassy can be slow to reply. But I don't know why they are taking so long. Maybe try email a different department and see if they reply?

you applied pretty late tbh, august for sept intake shocked

#

i applied on 1st may and got it around the end of july, so took 3 months

#

im from bangladesh btw^

#

ur country processing time may be different

#

pakistan apparently takes a vvvv long time to do the processing, and if ur from india. theres canada and india political unrest. so could be why indian applicants are pushed back. not sure tbh

august

#

was a VERY late time to apply

#

you should have applied as soon as you got your acceptance

#

in 2022 I applied in May and got my visa at the end of August

#

Sept intake is the most busy so their estimate time is like 2 months but usually takes even longer, up to 4 months maybe even beyond depending on your country and how busy it is

#

so you sorta dug your own hole here

#

if you've already done your biometrics you're basically stuck playing the waiting game now

#

they're finishing up the earlier applications now from people who applied in like June/July so you're gonna have to keep waiting for a bit, you should be good by January but there's no way for you to speed this up because emailing does not do jackshit for IRCC.
