Some of us that are in IGCSE believe that it may be worth having a general channel for each separate board. We think that conversations would likely flow more easily there as opposed to the general that exists rn and would avoid the recent overuse we have seen of ig topic channels being used for general discussions.

The iGCSE students could finally play,
In their own general chat, they could stay,
And laugh and joke, throughout the day.

The other topic chats, were left alone,
Their serious conversations, now fully grown,
While the iGCSE students, on their own,
Could let their hysterical jokes be shown.

Now the iGCSE students, are always found,
In their general chat, laughing and clowning around,
And when their jokes become too profound,
They remind themselves, that they're exam-bound.

I'd be willing to make an ig-general and similarly an as-general and an a2-general, but I wouldnt be willing to do an equivalent for other boards (edexcel, aqa, ib) coz we have channels like #edexcel-general and #ib-general and they are extremely inactive, so another general for 1 subsection of students from that board would be pointless
