When we asked for my paper back we found nothing wrong and my teacher said I should’ve gotten an A on both papers. Check with A* thresholds for sociology and see your AS raw marks. Do the math and see if that's realistically possible for you to get. In general I would say if you have a high B too it's very tough to get an A+ in A2 so I don't think it's thaaat possible but again check with gt and give your best

When a new set of A level exams drop, what is the percentage ratio of new questions to reused past questions? For example like is it 90% new questions made for that variant only, and 10% past paper questions? Or do different subjects have different patterns? (moreso asking for math and the sciences)

I wanted to know about how to convert my A levels result to ATAR and do I need to do IELTS if I have done IGCSE English as a second language (0510) with A grade?

What passport do you have

• you don't convert your grades into atar or whatever. There's likely going to be a prerequisites section with some form of mention of A-levels and the grades they accept / want.

I think it's usually under the "international admissions" section

iirc you only have to "convert"/ get equivalency for grades when you've done some local high school diploma

As for IELTS, it depends on your citizenship (it's listed somewhere on the uni website too)

It's very likely you'll have to show them an IELTS result since igcse or alevel English subject results don't suffice

If you're from India for example, yeah you're gonna have to do IELTS. If you're from say Ireland (or some other English speaking country), you won't have to do IELTS and you can just skip it altogether

There could be a few things wrong here. Your procedural knowledge might be lacking, ur fact-recall is lacking, and/or u lack deeper understanding in the later topics. I can't tell which without some more info
Look through the papers you did and try to find a trend. For example, are most of the ones giving u issues from specific sets of topics repeatedly? is it udually a specific type of question? after you go back to the textbook and then attempt that question, can you still do that question? while doing the challanging questions, is it that you cannot remember the formulas but you know where to start and how to go about it (so if u had a full formula sheet you could do the question perfectly)?
