Basically, the syllabus only requires you to understand these types of sequences:

1. Arithmetic (Linear) Sequences

Formula:

Where:

  • found by: T2 - T1

2. Geometric Sequences

Formula:
Tn = a × r^(n - 1)
Where:

3. Quadratic Sequences

Finding a, b, c using differences:
