modok supremacy
Did Kang dirty
still having trouble processing the fact that he just stood there as a horde of ants came alllllll the way toward him and just got wrecked
like seriously there had to have been hundreds of yards between where they broke through the wall and where he was standing when they reached him why didn’t he just leave
i actually liked the movie as a whole
but at some point i feel they could have done only one thing
either show kang as a fuckin serious movie or make the jokes as they did
nd i think in trying to get both they actually fucked kangs story
nd its not even this the mid credit scene is when i made the face
i mean the marvel i love is those scapeships nd that big fight high tech fight they had with thanos nd that captain america nd bucky fight idk which movie it was
its not egyptian gods for gods sake
the way they ruined moonknight's ending with that shit i just felt like showing kangs egyptian kinda version gave me the same vibe
i just think the movie was good , its just their main villian's plot which feels fucked up
there were moments when it feel like fuck yea thats kang nd then nd there they put the jokes
those versions of kang we see speaking are actually from the comics for what it's worth
I think the movie needed more humour
Cause that’s the main thing it had going for it
The serious stuff wasn’t very good
yeah pretty mid
well then ig its just me not liking marvel going into the egyptian era
I love Egyptian stuff so I’m cool with it
although the last post credits scene was good
loki finding out the good kang thats the help we need
yea i mean after the way they ended moon knight , i fear they're gonna do some shit here so yeah
nah i just disliked that crocodile monster not remembering the name
He’s not the good Kang, he’s the original
I believe
oh maybe
i felt like they weregoing to the one whom they had killed
My mate said he’s the original, he’s really interested in like the science of time and then discovers it and becomes really powerful and that creates all the variants or something
That might not be entirely accurate but it’s something to that effect
Sounds like my mate is wrong
Yeah the movie was pretty meh
The last act was the best part of it. Did modok very dirty tho
And can't really take kang seriously based off just this movie
I'm surprised they had Kang as the villian and no-one died
i think you really just misunderstood the scene lol
there’s nothing egyptian about it. one kang had an egyptian look but that’s it lol
that kang was rama-tut he’s usually associated with the fantastic four. the other two were immortus and i think prime kang
more about the kang variant from the post credits
He’s a Kang from Ancient Egypt but that doesn’t matter to the overall plot
The first Kang from comics was the Ancient Egyptian one
yea rama-tut
this could be where quantumania goes. immortus, rama-tut and prime all make the point that the “exiled one” is dead but i didn’t get a “dead” vibe from that scene so perhaps he is trapped like this
literally didnt even feel like a major villian in this movie
ah okay this does make sense
maybe he'll come back later
i think now the stakes on loki are even higher
it has got to set kang as some dangerous shit
coz till now even after a full movie of kang it feels like thanos>>
yea if the kang we met is actually dead it really undercuts him as a threat but if someone were to somehow let him free then that would certainly be a twist
the way he went out didn’t really seem like death to me
yeah
I feel like the kang variant who "died" will be the main villain for secret wars
Maybe somehow coming out stronger
Nah Council of Kangs will be defeated in Kang Dynasty I think
But without Kangs there to destroy timelines, they collide and that’s where Secret Wars comes from
Kinda like the opposite of Infinity War where the good guys winning is actually what fucks everything
nd is that where dr doom comes in?
although there's one thing which i still dont know is where do the celestials fit into all of this
I assume dr doom comes in with fantastic four
I don’t think the celestials do fit in with the overarching storyline this saga, they’re just their own thing
I won't like it if they make Doom Secret Wars villain by just shoving him in it after like 1 appearance
i really hope they sprinkle the F4 cast throughout the MCU leading up to the movie. they have two years to do it. would be great to get to know reed and victor as two smart scientists before they get their abilities too
yeah that would be better
nd i think since both avengers are coming within 1 year gap so maybe they can show dr doom also some time later this year or next maybe
its a question where they would but thats fiege's problem haha
There's rumours secret wars would be 2 parts
Ages ago reports were saying the next Avengers movies will be a trilogy
We’ll see
I thought one of the variants is iron lad
ooh that could be right
Nvm just looked immortus /iron lad same person
there’s one i’m not really sure of. one was obviously rama tut and i’m pretty sure the other was immortus but no clue who the other is
So the tall hat is guy is immortus right
then the other kang could iron lad but he's just a younger version of Immortus
Scarlet Centurion
His design was changed
Yeah the tall one is immortus
I hope we see Rama Tut in Moonknight or Loki
Should have created Kang's angry buildup like Thanos cause Kang showing all his powers here feels like he's not the villain centerpiece of the movie we expected
I hope we get more moon knight in general
imo its the overusage of cgi thats making marvel movies mid for me atm
they're using it just too much haha
nah the script was straight up bad
cgi was okayish
inconsistent but okay
i can compromise on the visuals if script is good
nah but if they're putting in that much money into the movie they could have done better action sequences which actually would give those dark vibes
i mean captain america nd bucky had fought better nd then there was kang
I thought the fight was pretty good
But not required since kang could literally obliterate ant man at his will
Yet he chose hand to hand combat for some reason
yea the writing was shit here
it actually was shit if you compare it to the way thanos was teased
some people are theorizing that the ending is a big misdirect and that Scott is actually stuck in a time loop or a new timeline
that should be interesting haha
if this is correct then this becomes another marvel movie to be all about the credits scenes
SPOILER ALERT: Jonathan Majors can finally talk about those QUANTUMANIA post-credit scenes and #happysadconfused has the exclusive!

seems like it was immortus, rama tut and scarlett centurion we saw
they changed scarlet centurions design a lot
also these variants are super confusing at times haha. Scarlet Centurion is basically Rama Tut after he got defeated by the fantastic 4 and decided to don a suit similar to Doom's
yea kang is a lot less multiversal and deals more with traveling timelines but who the fuck knows what the MCU is doing with these characters lol
