Enemies idly staring at me not doing anything

So sometimes when I go into the rooms where it closes the door behind you and forces you into a fight with marauders, sometimes they kinda just walk up to me and stand there. I hit them until their shield breaks but they just continue to stare at me. Sometimes they will start spinning and the speed of light and then die by god knows what.
