Some games use the Steam betas feature to allow players to play old versions of certain games. This is done mostly for preservation and speedrunning sake, or just to mess around with bugs (which can be very fun sometimes).
This is a shot in the dark because EH2 doesn't have a Betas section, but is there a way to replay old builds of Everhood 2?

We had one speedrunner branch due to some speedrunners found a older version had big gaps.
If any speedrunner finds a similar gap we will open a speedrunner branch!
I mean, the old DMITRI colosseum battle allowed you to skip all the way from the Hilbert Hotel to ||the EH1 section||. I feel like that would be a significant enough time gap to justify a branch being made for that.
That makes sense, too bad it removes a lot of the content we had prepared for speedrunners thou.
Speedrun categories exist for a reason!
There's a category that avoids colosseum skip!
Everhood and Everhood 2 are actually DRM-free though, so if you use the standard Steam downpatching method, you can go back to old versions, unofficially but better than nothing! I had backup copies of every version of Everhood 1 until I ran out of computer space and had to kill some things though.
But if I needed to, I'd downpatch Steam and make backup copies of each version again
Oh yeah the category already exists
I guess we could have another branch for battlewarps but it would be a bit boring!
Let me know which version you'd like open!
